Hi Mel! I am doing a little experiment on the subjects I am interested in and found tool grinding gets much more interest than the general milling and lathe work that has millions of videos.

@@1monarch10ee funny how that is. You never know what will get people’s interests. Also I now understand why I didn’t see updates on the other channel. It’s a shame that people are so screwed up, isn’t it? Now that I have my small 6x12 surface grinder I’ve been upgrading it. There’s no way to cover the exposed dovetails on the vertical component, so I’m making my own, after a lot of handwringing and about six different design ideas. Also I’ve been buying fixturing to allow me to use it as a cutter/grinder. I think I mentioned that before. I did make a mistake in eBay. I’ve used several big Cincinnati cutter grinders many years ago and forgot how big and heavy they are. So I bought a Cincinnati three way fixture with mounted vise. Yikes! Way too big and heavy for my small grinder. So I guess I can use it on my mill for small work. I always did want a three way vise for that. So I’ve bought small fixtures from old American makers.
