Why not use cushioncraft replace all cars and motorcycles and make highways for high speed trains usage only, we already have floading cars.

Ive wanted to get into hovercraft for years, but theres just nothing out there anymore other than the £30 "toys". Ive always fancied a mixed surface RC vehicle, Ive a lot of flat grass, fine gravel, and mudbanks by the local waterways, and tried years ago to get a hold of, or scratchbuild a decent hovercraft, but got stuck on where to find skirts everytime. It seems the RC hovercraft era was 10-20 years ago.
