Saw it last night at an early screening. It felt like a Tim Burton take on Heathers. It's a decent watch, good for streaming or if you want an "offbeat girls night".
Bits of it made me think of Edward Scissor hand, I think it was the way he played his dead character
I loved it. They don’t make movies like that anymore and I appreciate it

I don't know whats crazier to me, the fact that each person in this video did something that defined a different era of my life, or James and Cole being 3 years apart in age.
Cole Sprouse was born in 1993 and Jame's was I think born in 1987!

😅 I’m constantly reminded in interviews of Cole that he has a degree in archaeology so he knows a lot of obscure history lol

The cemetary superstition that I grew up with is that you have to hold your breath while passing a cemetary, or you risk becoming possessed by a restless spirit.

One superstition I’ve heard of out of Japan is that if you walk by a cemetery or a dead body passes by you in a hearse, you’re supposed to tuck your thumbs into your pockets to protect your parents. It stems from the fact that the Japanese word for thumb translates loosely to “parent finger.”
I did my review as one of the kids behind the movie back in the 90’s. I did it cuz this movie discusses real life horrifying things going on in the lives of a city full kids who were being human tested on, while the whole city, mayor, & schools tried to keep it quiet that kids kept disappearing and dying. A lot of these themes ended up in this movie so I discuss song choices, like REO Speedwagon was about our 3rd grade school when kids were being exposed to animal sacrifice and the school was trying to hush it up instead of help the kids exposed. Kids were really forciblied at graveyards and parties (but it was commissioned by the m0b thru Lockheed, & decided back when I was approx 7-9) & witchcraft in public did occur. So there’s a lot to real life stuff that happened to these kids that made it into the movie.
The movie was brilliant and deserves some awards, & shows what a good understanding these kids had of the horror comedy genre with the Tim Burton and Ryan Murphy type moments.
So I hope people will support my review cus unless we get a ton of national attention on the movie and what happened to these kids quickly, more might di*. So far no reparations for citywide human testing on now grown kids. Many di*d, including several friends and family. One kid got k’d in front of magical bureau hindquarters and they didn’t wanna solve it and kids were forced to watch it on substances after being forciblied. A talented stuntman from the show 6teen. Then a dj & sobgwriter di*d who was behind Phineas & Ferb where again themes of energy w’s & human testing were included as kids desperately tried to bring awareness to what they were suffering. A lot of these songs he did got super famous and you all know and love them so I did a lot of discussion on those too, cuz the whole country including authorities continue to ignore it for decades!!! It’s disgusting so many di*d & had their lives altered and there’s not been any or enough justice for so many nor any reparations. So hope peeps will support my efforts and hear what I have to say about this brilliant film that’s now easily my fav movie ever. Feel so honored to have been able to help on it. And yay Kokamo made it in as a protest kids called into the radio to call out what was going on.
And sorry my gram’s neck massager made it in… she’s no longer alive either. RIP. And my aunt and gramps are gone. Several friends. Anyhow glad it was all included cus shows what happened and lends some credibility to my story.
And in my review my parrots also apologize to the Sprouse twins for that one prank… that was all their idea as viral pets at the time. One parrot thought he needed celeb beef for his rap career so he took things a bit far over some Missy Piggy stuff. lol. 😂 But he’s a big fan irl. ;)

Got to see the movie on Monday. Have been excited for it since the teaser showed up before FNAF, and it’s definitely worth your time. Fun movie, with some really funny moments, and a great soundtrack

You’re not dumb! I questioned that too, but yes it is. It’s not only a reference to Lisa Frank but the copious amount of colors in the film are as well.

I used to watch Suite Life of Zack and Cody in my youth, I didn't know Cole Sprouse was still around acting and now in the horror world? That's pretty cool
I'll definitely check this movie out, Supernatural is my favorite show currently on my 13th rewatch of it and watch it almost daily so if Kathryn Newton (or any one from that show really) is in something I'm for sure watching it
