Dedicated to his brother in law who was shot the same time MF GRIMM was almost shot to death aswell, he is now paraplegic (unfortunately) this track also referenced to MF DOOM'S brother named Subroc, he unfortunately died tragically at a young age. Now this track relates so hard to MF DOOM himself.

Thanks to my brother he introduced to me to a lot of underground music. As a girl sure I like a lot of music but underground and 80’s punk rock get me! I always find myself coming back to this song,,,, I remember listening when I was 18 losing my mom. I’m 31 now and I listen still missing my family and friends….

Man, this shit fucks me up more now than it did 20+ years ago. That’s what separates hot shit from fundamental shit; you might hear a song from 50 years ago that makes you feel some type of way, but it’s very rare you hear a song from 50 years ago that you live heard and felt before you’ve ever even listened

This is easily one of the most thoughtful and emotional pieces of hip hop i have ever heard in my entire life. The whole song is just beautiful it almost makes me cry everytime i hear it. It's so incredibly vivid and cerebral. I love it. Not even death can separate the love.

He's one of my favorite rappers. I actually got to meet him across the street from the amoeba store in hollywood and he's got to be one of the coolest and humblest people you'll ever meet. I mean if your familiar with his music you'll know he always preaches about life due to his experiences and tribulations that he went through. If you don't know about this dude, don't sleep and check his stuff out.

Pure raw emotion. I've been listening to this song for almost 10 years and it still finds a way to hit my in the chest. Listening to this now makes me think about all the tough times in my life, the years gone by, and all the people in my life that aren't here right now. MF Grimm really laid his soul out on this track and it's so evident. If you can't feel that, then I don't know what to tell.
