    I'm autistic, which involves limbic system disfunction. A common symptom of autism is sensory processing disorder. I'm curious if you've considered how dnrs might benefit autistic people due to the common theme of hypersensitivity to sensory stimuli and how sensory overload can result in autistic meltdowns. I am particularly sensitive to chemical smells and perfumes and they cause me to have an emotional and physical reaction including headache, nausea, dizziness, anxiety and brain fog.

    I'm about 6 weeks into DNRS. It's a fantastic program, and Annie Hopper deserves huge thanks and credit. I'm curious that in the early part of this talk, however, that she makes the statement about childhood trauma NOT likely as a root cause of limbic system impairment. Her disavowal of childhood trauma is completely off base, as very much research shows. This video is 6 years old, so that may be part of the issue, although we knew about the effects of childhood trauma on brain development then. Check out the Harvard Center on the Developing Child, for example. Her statement about childhood trauma is so general its like saying bladder cancer is the same as brain cancer. The term "childhood trauma" encompasses a nearly infinite variety of experiences, and repeated and sustained physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse can very definitely trains the alarm system to be stuck "on."

    I would like to know if this system helps people with Hypothyroidism (Hashimotos) and Hyperthyroidism patients come off their meds and completely recover from the condition. Can antomincal changes be noticed as well? I have a twisted colon, from a colonoscopy that was done to test for issues, at a very young age. Can DNRS fix that?

    This is all well and good. Exciting even. But I spent an hour listening to confirmation of all my (multiple) diagnoses, and what is wrong in my brain and my body, but didn't hear a single word about how DNRS works. I'd like to know what I'd be getting myself into if I were to order this product. Which, in itself, is a red flag. You know...that advertising message that says 'you'll solve your problem if you buy this X, it's the only thing that will work'. I'm not being flippant. I've been living with so many of these conditions for so long, and seen so many potential 'I don't knows' and 'cures', I only make decisions now based on solid information. I didn't get that in this presentation.

      Don't get it twisted, this is a sales pitch and nothing more. Everything this lady puts out, whether it be books, talks, or any other type of content, is just an entry into her company's sales funnel. It's also worth noting that she's not a doctor, scientist, or psychologist, and that the only bit of science on her website is one poorly-done study that nobody wants to publish.
      And while I get that she doesn't give her method away for free, if she were as passionate about helping people as she claims, surely she could give the audience one piece of advice, one technique at the end of the talk which they can start practicing immediately to put them on their way to health (and get them even more interested in her product, so win/win). But no, nothing, nada.

    Dang 4 minutes in and she's the first person I can relate to who has tried to help me with my sensitivities. I can smell laundry soap on people who drive by... with the car window closed lol I can't wait to try this. I like having superhuman senses sometimes, but it's gotten ridiculous and I would like to be able to function. Been this way since I was born, but it has only gotten more intense as time has passed. A plain potato has overwhelming flavor to me now and I can only eat about 10 foods on the planet. I can barely sleep because I hear everything... even a socked foot on the carpet wakes me up and sends me into a panic, so I moved to the woods to get away from society.

      Thanks. That is me. I can only eat 11 whole foods and recovered fine from mcs many times. I too can smell gas miles away, perfume, fragrances and fabric softner. I am getting better. Only major things triggered my mcs. Don't you feel that your nose is like a programmed robotic MAGNET that is designed to ONLY attract all chemicals? I just wear a damn respirator but i can still smell smells through the mask even tho it is properly on. But sometimes i put a piece of fabric or thin filter over the breathing hole and that is much better. I also have celiacs and my MCS stems from my weak PITUITARY gland since i had a tumor, prolactinoma. I heard somebody else also had mcs do to that. I don't have a toxic body. I don't eat or use any thing toxic. What caused my last bout of MCS in AUGUST WAS HORRID allergic reaction to rubbing alcohol after taken the blood food allergy test. And no telling what is implanted in at the end of the needle. Hopefully nothing. But after that perfume , sanitizer, fabric softner , fragrance allergies got a million times worse. What else causes MCS besides weak pitutary gland ?

    • @AwakeningWarrior
      @AwakeningWarrior 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@zenithgreyz3017 It does seem like the senses become a magnet! I hear through earplugs, like you smell through masks! I get it. It's frustrating.
      I think the weakened pituitary might be another symptom rather than the root cause. Likely the body getting stuck in fight-or-flight causes the pituitary damage. Maybe! It seems like everything stems from the body getting stuck in fight-or-flight and it damages people's bodies wherever their weakest areas are (genetically or otherwise).
      I'm almost done with day 1 of the program here, I have to finish this weekend so I can give it my full attention. Have you tried it yet?? I've used similar methods to resolve OCD so I know it works!! I hope you find healing, MCS is no fun!!

      @@AwakeningWarrior I had a pit tumor first. Then only major things brought out my MCS since my pit was already weak or damaged. I put vinegar in my ears, bOOM BAD MCS. I had acupuncture done on my head, bOOM Horrid mcs, nOT to meantion severe hypoglycemia ea time. THEN what really made me very very worse was rubbing alcohol inside my vein and blood stream. THAT REALLY REWIRED MY BRAIN TO BE ALLERGIC TO EVERYTHING. OH i hope you get to feeling better. All this falls under adrenal fatigue. Some ppl have bad pit gland and others bad adrenals. MCS, celiacs, anxious are all part of it. But those pioneers want to give you HERBS all day to cure it. lmao Quacks

    My experience is that I can experience significant cognitive impairment (lasting perhaps a few days) following exposure to airborne substances found in particular environments (eg. in certain cars, in just one room of a house etc.).
    BUT I do NOT usually smell the offending substances; nor do I exhibit any sign of being in 'fight or flight'; I'm not necessarily stressed at such times; the cognitive problems do not occur immediately but a little later.
    My theory to date has been that all the above rather 'fits' with having a porous blood brain barrier.

      Hello!
      The best way to determine you may benefit from the rewiring process is to complete our self assessment survey retrainingthebrain.com/can-dnrs-work-for-me/ .
      Although the program was first created to address limbic system impairment as it relates to symptoms and conditions such as multiple chemical sensitivity, chronic fatigue syndrome, electric hypersensitivity syndrome, and fibromyalgia, we now see that a limbic system stuck in a chronic, maladapted “fight, flight or freeze” response could be involved with many complex and hard-to-treat illnesses. We invite you to view our DNRS success stories, which feature people who recovered from symptoms of limbic system impairment involved with many chronic illnesses.
      After over a decade of helping people find relief from symptoms related to limbic system impairment and a brain stuck in a chronic, maladapted “fight, flight or freeze” response, it never ceases to amaze us how many seemingly unrelated symptoms can turn out to be linked to the limbic system of the brain. It’s astounding how much improvement people report once they implement daily, focused neuroplasticity training.

      We are sorry to hear that you feel this way. DNRS is not a large company, however we have a number of genuine and kind employees and contractors that are dedicated to global awareness and improving peoples lives who are challenged with chronic hard to treat illnesses. All of our certified coaches were once DNRS clients who have fully recovered using our program, they know first hand how challenging limbic system impairment can be, and are dedicated to helping others. Costs are associated with our program and support services we have created with our clients in mind.
      We are grateful every day that we have created jobs and employed those who once were very ill.
      If you have questions about our program, what is offered and the costs associated with it please fee free to contact our client service team who are dedicated to answering your questions.

    This is great! As a patient affected by an autoimmune diagnosis, Lyme, Lyme co-infections, EMF sensitivity, and mold-related illness, and as a practitioner-in-training interested in working with sensitive individuals who are disproportionately affected by environmental factors, DNRS is an invaluable resource. No wonder it’s so popular! One small critique I have of this talk, however, is when Annie asserts that “limbic system dysregulation is real; it’s not psychological.” I get and appreciate what she’s trying to say - that it’s not “just in someone’s head” - however, I find this statement off-putting and inaccurate, as ultimately all psychological diagnoses inevitably have (a) physical correlate(s) in the brain (something that the field of neuroscience is increasingly acknowledging over time, as research bears out this fact more and more).

    Healthy healing environment. Can you imagine what covid is doing to our limbic system?

    • @goldeneddie
      @goldeneddie 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Covid isn't affecting our limbic system, it's the hyper-level of FEAR that has been generated to create a 'distorted perception of the threat' to use Annie's words about maladaptive responses. Ask a few people how many people have died or what the survival statistics are. You'll find that the common perception is massively exaggerated because of the heavy-handed, relentless media messages of terror. The facts are that over 99% of us will NOT die from the virus, yet how many people know that? Our immune systems are amazing, yet where are the reassuring messages about that? By pushing ONLY a fearful narrative in an attempt to control us, gov'ts have contributed to a very UNhealthy environment.

      @@goldeneddie The problem is too many people have people in their lives that have died from covid or have been severely impacted. Right now, I have an uncle whose been in ICU for almost two months just hanging on because of covid.

      @@richawoman I am sorry to hear about your uncle. The issue is that people are choosing fear over freedom and the last persons comment was trying to convey that and how the media is driving that message. Take the vaccine issue. I am pro choice and choosing not to take it. I have lost friends over this issue. There are many who now demonize those who choose to not get vaccinated and are pushing the narrative of “get the vax or else!” and we see this clearly in New York with vaccine passports and in countries like Australia with insane lock down restrictions even though the death count is very low.

      Her program started out as only in person options-which adds on travel, hotel, etc, and she now offers DVDS at a small fraction of the cost. After using her DVD program, I am most thankful for that generosity!

    • @MrMadalien
      @MrMadalien 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Structural cause doesn't mean a neurological approach wouldn't fix it. There is also a link between vagus nerve and covid long haulers, just because there is a clear physical cause, like a virus, doesn't mean that a simple practice wouldn't fix it. Right now one of the most accepted forms of treating long covid is literally singing.

      Listen, the brain is a structure. Think BIGGER. Another thing, when you have tried all the structural remedies and you are still sick, try this. MIND over MATTER. Retrain that structural brain. Remember, that structure is what sends out chemicals based on emotions. THOUGHT becomes things. The research is there.
