I started with a cheap Amazon fixed sharpener and moved up from there every year . It’s a good skill to have and a good way to make friends or a cpl extra dollars
Question. When establishing the angles on the system how tall was the knife? I find one of the flaws with this sharpener is that the angles on the sharpener will never be the same on 2 different knives. A knife like the one in the video vs a shorter pocket knife would have a very different sharpening angle range if mounted exactly the same
Hello Kyle, 3 questions: Could you do a chisel bevelled knife with Wicked Edge? Could you clamp a ¼ inch thick blade? And finally, is there an option to do serrated knives? Thank you for your answer and for the video
I'm pretty sure that scuffing was already present on the knife as the 17 degree angle Kyle is using on the stones is not even close to touching the sides of the knife.
Excellent video of this great product.

Every knife is different.
If you want exact angles, you use a magnetic inclinometer to measure the exact angles and adjust.
The magic marker solves this problem. It's not a flaw of the system.
Great job, thanks!
If you wanna 2 different angles for each side of the knife, can you do it?
Can this device be used for serrated knives?
You’re not using an up and then down movement with your left hand???

You should wipe the blade clean of grit between each stone change
We could use a higher volume. I'm sharpening a Boker Kalishakov with a WE 120 and it keeps falling out. What can I do?
add a clamp for the handle of the knife
Smoooth 👍
Very nice machine but it appears to maintain the blade at a very elevated position which would cause an uncomfortable arm positioning.
Make a shorter work station.
Hi Kyle with Wicked edge!
Set only $1,000 for what you see could be more
It looks like you really scuffed the knife up near the blade edge. Can you address that?

Pahahaha! 😆
