The wicked edge instructions say to mount the attachment with the logo facing your dominant hand, which affects the clamping screw positions. Did you mount it logo facing your dominant hand?
Making the edge sharp on scissors does not make them cut any better then they did before sharpening. The two sharp edges must cross the entire length to properly cut. This may require adjusting the tension on the blades, maybe re-arching the blades and removing enough metal to make the edges square to the blade because of the ware on the upper insides and this will prevent the two sharp edges from crossing and instead just pinch the material between the blades and spread them. To properly sharpen scissors is one of the more difficult sharpening jobs there is. To know when you have removed enough metal you need to see the inside top edge when sharpening. You must see the bright line just below the inside edge to know when you have removed the rolled section but not removed anymore then necessary. The longer a pair of scissors go between sharpening s the more metal will need to be removed to make them cut properly. Sharp does not always equal proper cutting when it comes to scissors.
Are we supposed to sharpen both blades of the scissor? I’ve read that some scissors have a blade and an anvil but I don’t know how to tell if they are both blades or one is an anvil.
Does this sharpening system allow for curved blade scissors?
Kyle, can you please tell me when WE will come up with something to sharpen serrated blades? Will it be a brand new machine? Regards, Tony
So do you only grind one side on hairdressing scissors?
Great video Kyle!

You sharpen both blades
Hmm I feel ripped off, bought one of these new a few months ago and it only came with one flange, I must have gotten old stock...
Same...
Will this work on hair salon shears?
probably not those are hollow ground and convex very unique geometry best done by a rotary device or a whetstone
Edgepro professional does a better faster job,but that's just my opinion, granite wicked edge system is good, but WAY to expensive
This attachment has the most ridiculous clamping system I’ve ever seen !
“They are a lot sharper than they were before “ 🤣
YES!!!!!!
NEVER try to sharpen or polish with a foam...unless ur changing the angle otherwise u will round up that sharp edge you have just created
Never seen an adapter that is more overpriced. Doesn't say much about Wicked Edge when seeing this level of greed..
everything they sell is WAY OVERPRICED
