    Beautiful demo! ( and you can't go wrong with Ennio!). Quick Roli question regarding the Seaboard block. Are both Block keyboards getting power from the single USB cable? And are you using USB for midi or Blue Tooth? Just wondering if both Blocks can transmit midi over a single USB...I'm not a fan of using BlueTooth for midi. THX!

    Salve Luigi, ho acquistato anch'io la stessa tastiera roli e il software SWAM Violin by Audio Modeling con il programma camelot. Ma ho un problema : quando inizio a suonare dopo 2\3 note soprattutto quando cerco di legare una nota con l'altra , il suono si blocca sulla nota precedente ( esempio : se devo suonare La RE Do SI , quando arrivo a suonare il Si la tastiera rimane impallata a suonare ancora il Do). Da cosa può dipendere? devo cambiare qualche parametro? se si quale ? perchè con i suoni di equator o studio roli player questo non succede. Quindi è qualcosa che non va con swan. La ringranzio in anticipo della risposta e complimenti per il video!!

    • @luigisanso962
      @luigisanso962  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Salve, è molto probabile che lo stop che ottieni, sia dovuto alla fine della corda del violino. SWAM replica il comportamento fisico del violino e se una corda del violino che stai suonando termina, è giusto che si fermi. Ti basterà guardare la simulazione del punto della corda sull'immagine del violino per capire se il problema è quello e nel caso puoi decidere di far suonare quella nota da un'altra corda. Così come primo impatto mi viene in mente questo.

    • @makastar7829
      @makastar7829 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@luigisanso962 credo sia dovuto ai parametri imposti sullo strumento su opzioni dove compaiono tanti quadrati CC . Mi potrebbe dire tutti i parametri \valori che ha messo per fare questo brano? perché se replico il suono del brano che ha fatto non esce per niente come la sua , nel mio manca il vibrato e tra semplici e brevi passaggi da una nota e l'altra tipo( SI - RE- MI B ) mi fa una scala di suoni , vedendo la grafica, non con l'arco ma sulla tastiera del violino.

    Nice playing, that SWAM really sounds great.
    I've got a RISE too and I have a few questions about the blocks: can you really connect 4 blocks and get a massive 8-octave range? And if you use a Live block, does this let you still make playlists to scroll through like on the RISE?

      I would say that there are better options out there now... Check out the Joshua Bell Violin from Embertone, they have several instruments that sound more authentic than the SWAM lineup even without the need for MPE controls -- that violin is a bit more expensive, but they have several REALLY good flute-type instruments that are insanely cheap for as good as they are.

      I also have two Seaboard Blocks, and you can definitely feel a bit of a gap when sliding between the two. The cutouts really depend on what sounds you are using. Some sounds have a cutout that is barely noticeable while others are a little more.

      At the time of writing: no you have to use a USB cable. I think Windows 10 has MIDI over Bluetooth built in, but Roli would have to create a UWP version or something.

    Hi,is this a preset you get woth roli equator software?

    • @HyperNova137
      @HyperNova137 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, this is a separate virtual instrument plugin made by AudioModeling, the SWAM violin. I've had it for a while, and I have to say that it's incredibly difficult to get a really authentic sound from it if you're not also using a breath controller in addition to your keyboard (even if it's a ROLI). I recently came across the Joshua Bell Violin by Embertone, and it actually sounds better than this without the need for any MPE functions. Costs a good bit more tho.

      Yes, but you need to a) learn the technique (it's a little different than piano), b) buy good sounds for violin and guitar (they're not included with the bundled software), c) use a compatible host if you also want to record the performance as MIDI (e.g. Cubase).

      @chrisrdgymnastics 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      True.. hmn actually it will soind like that if you will use the seaboard rise..and the position should be vertical not horizontal.. as the vibrato will be very stressfull in the arms when seabaord is horizontal...in my experience i positioned it as vertical..you can check my vids then it shoulds as newely as cello as to the shiftinf sounds..also it os better to decreased.the wet value of our reverb..but it takes practice to master it so that the notes will sounds legato and or interconnected without gap
