- Breaking 4 MTB world records in one day! I break 4 mountain biking Guinness world records back to back on my Canyon Spectral and unofficially become a new world record holder! Could you beat my records?
I found that the Guinness world record website has a load of MTB world records just sat there waiting to be beaten so that's exactly what I did! After a quick search I found 5 records that I wanted to beat, starting with a ridiculous wall ride that might have been the easiest bike challenge in the world, but that didn't stop my excitement! The rest of the challenges were harder and one of them was impossible but I will try to complete it in the future. The bike I chose for the job was the Canyon Spectral enduro mountain bike as this thing can be used for all kinds of riding. How many of these world records could you beat?

@@htnrumpkicker7868 I think he was referring to the hopping on a pole, the one he did after wallrides. The picnic table hopping was totally legit. I was exhausted watching it!

If I was asked to rank the best mountain bikers, Sam would be the top of my list. But it's more than the mountain biking. It's the total commitment to having fun while challenging yourself. The joy of riding personified

He is 32 years of age, im 24 and my body would be destroyed if I attempted the things he does. At my local trails there is a jump that you need to pull up hard to clear, both times I pulled up to clear it I pulled my back out...

I remember the Jim DeChamp wall ride world record. It was on an episode of Nitro Circus where they were trying to break as many records as they could in day, they did 42. His record was just from the floor to the wall, without ramp, that's why the height is so low.
was curious about that one, better get back to that first record Sam. ;)
The tape line he laid down was 7 inches short of the actual record.
I’ve got the dvd with the episode on! Pretty sure he did it on a dirt jumper too (giant stp)
@@JZStudiosonline how do you figure? he did it over 2'10" which the record shows 2'1" and was from flat the second time
@@dougiesgarage he said the record was 2 foot 10, then marked it at 2 foot 3.

Sam is the best bike rider overall in the world. Nobody is close. Have them try to ride the bed bike.
2 foot 10 is 24 inches and 10 inches (2:05) or 34 inches which is 863 mm a brick and a morta bed is 75mm (2:19) 8 course's is what you jumped 8x75mm is 600mm, or did you mix metric and imperial ?? 2 foot and 10mm ????

I have a Canyon Spectral. I love it, but it's a nightmare to work on. They use a lot of tech they have created which makes it weird.

Sam himself is too chaotic to get any of these officially. Someone needs to organize this for him.
You have to have a person who works for them to verify the record, if you don't, you don't get the official record.

The wheelie and manual record would have to be different though. You would be able to build up speed while doing the wheelie, but not while doing the manual since you cant pedal.

Fyi, a wall ride distance is probably the distance both wheels are in contact with the wall, all other actions without both wheels on the wall, well, are actions to get both wheels on the wall. Probably need speed. Good video, liked it.
