Our Story:
We are five years into a seven year effort of transforming 20 acres of "Piney Grove" in Northwest Florida into our dream homestead/mini farm to be filled with animals and joy. We plan to have a variety of miniature critters on our pastures, raise free-range chickens, grow fish in our pond, garden, plant fruit and nut trees, and harvest wild game. Our goal is
to escape the stresses of corporate life and embrace all that country living
has to offer as we enter the next chapter of our lives. Follow along on our

We have gnarly stumps like that here. No deep tap roots, but a mess of thick feelers and suckers.. or whatever they are called. Great job at clearing the pole barn site, looking forward to seeing it get built.
You need a mini, Ross!
@@PineyGroveHomestead yes , yes I do.
Deb, you actually said it was kind of satisfying to hear the deep roots crack 😊 you are turning more into a country girl than a city girl as time goes by. My admiration for your perseverance and continue growth.
Brian and you are going at it like there is no tomorrow. The place is always improving! So happy about the sponsorships!!!
Thank you so much....we are excited about partnering with some great companies and making new content!
Exciting changes around Piney Grove! Nice work cleaning and clearing.
Thanks man. Now we gotta move that pile!
Another enjoyable video, thanks.
Backwoods built our pole barn earlier this year. We are a little to the west of your place.
The guys at Backwoods do excellent work. And it is true that the building you build is never large enough. The 30x60 we built already seems small but building another will have to wait until the house is built, if I want to stay married. LoL
Downsizing our new house, but upsizing our barns! Thanks for watching!
Nice!
Thanks Hank!
Have you tried getting a grade 8 bolt and nylon nut to replace that lynch pin. Congratulations on the new building and sponsors.
The wire works in brush but not when you are up against the side of a stump rubbing all day. A bolt would work great, but we are about to transition to our larger bucket for pond dirt work...and I also didn't have a bolt with me that day! Thanks for watching.
A long lock works great too that’s what I’ve used on mine for years
Great video guys! Hopefully someday I can operate my mini ex as good as Brad! I am building another pole building this spring, I thought when I built the first one a 32’ x 56 that would be big enough, so I am going to build another one the same size. I need a heated area where I can work on things when it’s cold up in Michigan!
Seems like they are never big enough! Thanks for watching.
I think you should check out the Massey Ferguson 946Series tractor
I love to leave my forks on, if I put om my loader when I am finished loader, I put my forks back on.
Come on guys, give us a hint! Maybe a color!😀
We will have the first video on it next Saturday!
It would be better to dig at the roots a little and push at the tree kill two bird one stone but who am I . I have push a lot of trees
That is a good way to get it all in one shot but we're not comfortable with that.
I do under stand and keep it up you are doing a grate job@@PineyGroveHomestead
