Already certified as a new hire, about to be released in the wild soon after my 3mos of training. Came here as a refresher always a good information and teaching method.
outsida yes there is the 100nx uses a different concentration of hydrogen peroxide and a greater vacuum thus having better penetration of lumens. otherwise very similar.
Awesome thank you for answering so fast. If you could be so gracious as to follow up. Would there be something that can be run in a Sterrad NX and say a Sterrad 100S that can't be run in a Sterrad 100NX?
outsida I don't think so, except for the differences in chamber size the technical parameters are cross-functional. Having said that, always consult the OEM specifications before doing anything new. If you don't and something goes wrong your warranty is void. Hope this helps.
Hi Steve, can you start doing videos on Workbook Central Service Technical IAHCSMM (Instrumental To Patient Care) I just started the program on November 6th and it end on December 6th and then we start our internship which I feel is to soon.We have quizzes every Thursday on 3 chapters are more which I feel is very rushed and we not learning much because the program is on a time frame which is totally unfair to the students. The workbook is a total of 24 chapters. I feel LIKE I'm not learning not enough because our instructor can only go thru so many chapters with us because of the time frame . ( DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTION IN THIS SITUATION)
Thank you for your suggestion about the workbook, I will give it a try soon. As for learning suggestions. 1) relax and enjoy the process. Stress kills your ability to learn. In my videos I cover almost the entire book so review the videos. 2) read the book in short 15-20 min intervals several times per day but do it every day. Make sure to absorb the language. 3) do not try to learn every word from the book, you can't and will only stress out if you try. Concentrate on the important things, those that are highlighted in the text. Learn all the temperatures and pressure and the like. 4) ask questions and try to understand rather than memorize. 5) there is no secret to the workbook it just has to be done.
@@BostonCareerInstitute oh ok I was just a bit confused as they talk about how each BI is placed in different locations for each one also , I was reading how one CI is purple to yellow for LTGP , then another color for LTHP 😵💫😵💫😵💫 It’s soo much information just trying to get all my notes in order for my exam next month

Is there a functional difference between the Sterrad NX and the Sterrad 100NX? To further clarify are they capable of sterilizing the same items?

Hi . Sorry to bother , I notice you don’t speak on LTHP ? Just LTGP .
Sure I do, they're the same thing as far as the HSPA exam is concerned.
