If you would’ve told me I’d be a hair tool girl a year ago, I’d be *shocked* lol Let me know what’s your favorite detangling tool down below ⬇️ Thanks for watching 🌻
I’m so glad you liked the brush. I felt like you would. I’ve only used dupe’s myself and have loved them. Dollar tree has a great one. These are the only designing brushes I reach for. And don’t feel bad for detangling with tools, our hair needs the thorough detangling to thrive. Fingers would never be able to get through all the strands on our heads. As long as he hair is coated in conditioner and water it should be good. One thing I’ve found to help detangling even more is to add lots of water to the hair after conditioner is added to make that foamy lather. Detangling is a breeze with that. TTYL….and this is Vanna from my other account lol 😊
Hey lady! I remember when you were mentioning how you really like the dupe on fb, so glad I finally found a brush that works for me after trying so many. I got a bamboo one recently that I'm curious about too. Ooo I need to go to Dollar Tree, I'll keep an eye out. I had a good 10 year run with only finger detangling, but my hair is so over that now lol. Yesss that foamy lather with the water is so nice, helps a lot. Thanks for watching, ttyl - your avi from that account with the purple hair is cute!
Thanks. Yes this is the purple hair account I just changed the name and avatar. I always tried to log into my other account before commenting on your vids because I didn’t know if you knew the purple hair one was me lol. This is the one I’ll be on all the time now though. I’ll be back in to chat sometime. Later girl
Thanks for this comparison video! My hair is also very tangly and fragile and honestly never feels like it never stays detangled for long. I have the OG unbrush but have never used it. I only feel like I can safely use a brush in the front b/c my hair is short (above my shoulders curly) so I can't reach the back in a way that I feel comfortable using a brush without ripping out my hair. I'm thinking I might try again tho after watching this video!
So glad to hear that it was helpful! Your comment is super relatable, both of our curls sound like they're on the same wavelength lol. Detangle one day = starts tangling again the same day. My hair in the back is hard to reach and tangles so badly too, and after getting the hang of it a bit, I can brush pretty well in that area now. Still refining my technique since I'm still getting used to using brushes to detangle. Let me know what you think if you give it a try : ) Thanks for watching!
Something I've discovered is that SPRAY leave-in conditioners often have a tonne of slip and DON'T rinse away as fast when you're trying to detangle pre-shampoo. :D
Very true! There's a spray leave-in that I've been trying to use up and the first time I used my dupe, I used it with that, great results. Overall, since most of my spray leave-ins came from online retailers and are a little pricier than most of my usual prepoos, I like to use them in ways that will keep them in my hair for a few days at a time. Thanks for watching!
I found a 3.99 dupe at Burlington because I accidently stepped on my Unbrush. 😮 I like the Unbrush better, but in a pinch, the dupe is fine. Great ASMR with the video! 😊
Ooo 3.99 is really good, our Burlingtons never have anything good it seems lol. Glad you like these types of brushes too! Dupes that actually perform well are so nice to find. Happy to hear you liked the ASMR! It's the first time I tried to use it in a video and I might try to do others in the future 😄🌞 Thanks for watching lady!
I like the unbrush to detangle, but the dupes are a tad firmer and i like it when i wrap my hair or on the rare occasion i blow dry my hair. In either instance any unbrush variation i lose less hair than any other type of brush.
Same here, I damaged my hair *so* badly back in 2019 when I detangled with the Tangle Buster just once, and swore off any brushes on my curls after that. But this brush is the most gentle I’ve used so far. Ooo I can see how this could be a good one to wrap with, going to keep that in mind. Thanks for watching!🌻
I love your honesty so much lol. The Felicia Leatherwood brush is another that I've heard great things about over the years. Thanks for watching love!🌞
I absolutely hate this brush!!!!! But my hair is super curly and tangly and it not meant for long tangly, curly hair….. I still use my Tangle Teezer Ultimate detangler…these types of brushes are a noooooo gooooo for me 😂😂😂
Had such bad luck with the Tangle Teezer, but I considered their Ultimate Detangler when I saw people having such good luck with it. My hair is pretty long and ridiculously tangly, so I’m glad this brush (the bootleg version most of all 😄) has been able to help, I’ve gone through SO many hair tools that didn’t help or made things worse. I’m glad the Ultimate Detangler works for you! Tangles suck lol. Thanks for watching!

So glad you've found a tool that works for you after all these years!
Thanks so much Linzee, never would have imagined after trying so many that I would finally find something that worked!
Great vid!
Thank you Chrissy!!
