These two were awesome together. Their chemistry as brother and sister was unmistakeable, and their bond is what made what ultimately happened to Darry all the more tragic. I hope Trish gets some kind of revenge in the third film for him.

Yeah the movie was solid, it had some funny, creepy, horrifying and at times cringe moments its a classic, I've often asked why the need for sequels and trilogies etc, like the sibling chemistry gets you invested in the entire story, I only say this because its a beloved story which gets turned into a franchise which the audience losses interest. here its just simple, I like the horror genre and wanna be apart of it ''running away from the villain''
when the psychic reveals Trish is the target their is an expression of relief on darry's face for a moment. sadly it takes him but it may have been for the best as Trish may hunt it down one day. If darry would have lived, I don't believe he would have the courage to do so.
the psychic didn’t look at trish to hint towards her being the one getting taken away, she looked at her with grief and disappointment because she couldn’t say physically that it was Darry as she knew how much trish loves her brother and would break down knowing it’s him. However, maybe she looked at trish to build up darry’s hope, to help him become even more braver than a boy jumping down a spooky pipe and protect himself and his older sister.
It’s actually harder to do comedy. And being in a film like this comedy chops is better. once you add all of the horror elements, being scared is not as hard, but it’s the endearing moments and levity between the siblings that made us immediately know what their dynamic was. Think about it, we knew exactly the dynamic of their relationship far before any serious acting took hold.

Creo que es una especie de clásico, homenaje a las pelis de terror ochenteras. La verdad es que su personaje, Darry Jenner, le da encanto a la peli, también la relación con su hermana es divertida.
