As I believe, one shot over12ftlbs and it's a firearm. If it is returned to sub 12 it is still a firearm. If it can be adjusted with household tools it is also classed as a firearm. I maybe wrong but that's how I read and interpret the law.
@@stephenlennox6491 Hi, as I understand, if your lucky the gun will be tested with the pellets or slugs in the confiscated weapon. They are more likely to test with any or many projectiles. In my experience heavier pellets give higher muzzle energy, and to be honest I'm pretty sure a 12 ft-lb rifle shooting slugs at 11.6 will shoot pellets way above 12 all day long.
@@stevemasterman3718 So even if it is set at 11.6 the chances are it will go over the 12 at some point. I will have to get one of those speed things to test mine. I have just bought a new .22 so I best check to make sure. I have not altered mine in any way it is as it came new. Cheers for the info mate.
Great job Mr. !!
Hi mark,,looks good to me,won't get better than that mate,👍

@@stevemasterman3718 I suppose the authorities would test your rifle with the lightest pellets that can be found, to get the highest reading ?
