How did you get on that cam with the sprocket already on the chain!?!?! Holy hell! Currently struggling with this as I speak, for some reason my cam ground up the bearing near cyl 1. Was riding just fine, then I heard a screech sound followed by LOUD valve clatter. Once I get new bearings maybe cam too, I have to do this over again. I can get the cam slipped through the sprocket with the chain off, but even then once the chain goes on its a struggle with satan himself to get the thing properly seated onto the camshaft! I also noticed you didnt pre-grease the bearings, which I think was my mistake.
Come on man! The trick you used for the camshaft is important!
