I was just looking for the information what changes when putting RTGI on medium instead of high and found my answer here, looks pretty much the same to me. Thanks for the video!
From the benchmarks I've seen it is a 20% difference in this game. With AFMF I think I would still play on the 7900XTX as that is the only way to get a high refresh rate experience in this game with everything turned on.
The difference can be literally up to 2-3 times the performance. Path tracing benchmarks have the 7900 XTX losing to a 3080 when VRAM isn't an issue. I have a 7900 XTX for now after I sold my 4090 since I'm waiting for the 5090 next month & the difference in RT performance is generations ahead.
@@OC.TINYYY yeah it's pretty bad, luckily i didnt spend an insane amount on it only 850 which yeah is crazy but relatively its not too bad. still the vram for me is good i use it for productivity as well

Yeah i shouldve spent the extra 200 on a 4080 super i didnt realize how much better nvidia is at rt i thought it was like a 20% difference
