The main reason why people use halu for farming coin isnt just to get coins directly from halu’s effect. It makes enemies stronger, letting you hitting them more to generate more coins with greed stamp. And obviously the increase spawn amount and speed makes enemies comes to you in more amount and faster, giving you more xp and further giving you more chances to generate coin with greed stamp with their higher HP as well. Of course, thats provided that you can survive with halu which might be difficult for new players with little to no upgrades in the shop.
Even though the tooltip stops mentioning coins at level 4 (and doesn't mention anything at level 5), everything upgrades at every level. a coin for every 2 enemies at level 4, and a coin for every enemy at level 5, and enemies still get stronger and more frequent at level 5
If you mention Halu as an XP buff item I think it is mendatory to also mention that in the shop under the restrictive upgrades category there is also one that increases spawnrate without the downside of making enemies harder to defeat.
Halu also actually helps certain characters DPS like Fubuki for example. All 3 of her skills synergises with each other and in case of halu, her konkon skill needs her to proc dodge by taking a hit. More hits = more dodges = more konkon skill procs = more damage.
Yeah, marketing is an absolute must. It has most of the advantages of Holu without many of the negative effects, most important of which is that it doesn't take up an item slot. Holu is still a great item and can be stacked on top of marketing but I find it is something I only used if I want to do a sweaty tryhard build.
I always reset any run that doesn't give me Halu in the first 2 min. The game gets too boring once you get used to Halu. Only exception is level 3 hard, I don't do Halu there until I have gachikoi on the character. More enemies close together also increases the efficacy of area-of-effect weapons. Instead of a single MiKomet strike hitting 2 enemies, it can now hit 10 or more. Yes, there's always a chance of making a movement mistake in levels 2 and 3 hard, and dying nearly instantly, but that just adds to the fun.
For reference, Halu (Ha-loo) is short for Hallucination, it's a term used by Indonesian hololive-fans or weebs in general as a joke for those who simps too hard to the point they become delusional lol
If you're worried about the enemy buff aspects of it combining it with Frozen Sea (BL Book + Wamy Water) or Snow Flower Sake (Wamy Water + Glowstick + Sake) will apply a pretty strong slow a decent chance to freeze which will greatly mitigate the bonus movement speed that enemies gain from it. Flattening Board (Cutting Board + Holo Bomb) will also provide some CC and Rap Dog (X Potato + Idol Song) will increase the damage that enemies take which will allow you to mitigate the Health bonus they gain from Halu.
or, you know. just try to get Shackles, and max it. Halu Shackles is a great combo for Endless runs. by this, I mean being able to grab all the damage increase items. Halu still buffs enemies but when you can kill faster than they could, it's just moot at that point.
it is a pretty good idea to eliminate halu once you’ve already taken it. this gives you more options to get the items you want earlier and allow better control on what level halu you want since you can keep upgrading halu with an anvil manually. eliminated items no longer appear randomly in holozon boxes even if you have them in your arsenal.
Now, this is just my opinion, but I think Injection-Type Asacoco pairs poorly with Body Pillow - I much prefer Headphones for this. Because ITA's damage pings Body Pillow's shield, once you're at 1 HP the shield does close to nothing, whilst Headphones still has a chance to deflect a stray hit. Of course, if you take ITA you either intend to not get hit at all, in which case you want something that's not Body Pillow or Headphones, or you've got enough healing to outpace ITA (or Shackles), in which case Headphones are better, because they're not getting drained by ITA (in the Shackles case it doesn't matter, because you negate the damage).
Or I could just do marketing with more enemies but they are not stronger still getting the extra exp even at level 3 marketing gives a hefty chunk especially if with the recent fan latter where you can gain 8% exp for an overall 28% exp bonus
at first i hated halu until i won a game with it that is once you get a taste of that difficulty increase its simply really hard to go back base game starts to feel like a kids playground after finishing a stage with halu plus all of that extra exp money and stamps are really nice for farming money i dont go endless because its kinda impossible for me but i found a easier but less gain method with marine i get sake and tiara for stamps and crit chance then get all extra money items and finally couple defensive items for stamps i get lifesteal stamp pekoras stamp this is kinda weird but trust me it works i finally get the stamp for extra stamp drop chance a lot of money farmers overlook this but you get almost 500 coins for each stamp you sell thats a really good amount and with tiara you get extra haste and crit chance for each stamp that drops too im sorry this is so long and probably no one is going to read it but i just wanted to say it
forgot to mention the mesugaki shackle which removes the negatives of halu and other such debuffs powerful items can have when you fully upgrade the shackle.

Remember guys, don't go too halu
I'm too far deep, I can't live without Halu
@@nainkylelian194 Get...get....get some help!
Delulu is the solulu
halu is too important!

Extra enemy spawns also means more anvil and stamp drops
Exactly, that's the thing that glasses and coat (and super limiter) can't match.

Or you can pair both for maximum enemy
@@deadrixhanon1776 On a character with strong ko-chaining that is sometimes easier then playing base spawnrate.

I just raised the level of "Marketing" to max and always grab a exp item.
Pretty much never fall behind on levels, I only grab Halu for money builds.

Basically it's the best if you can handle the difficulty, if you can't then Don't.

Always Halu Responsibly
I know most of this from playing but the leadrboard strat never crossed my mind.
Do Halu everyday.
Yeah halu spawns more and tougher enemies, but irys greed stamp cheese is op
I was hoping to hear what the enemy buff was when you get to the "don't do it" phase.
Extrapolation puts it at 35% stronger enemies and 1 holocoin per enemy, but this is just an assumption.
Just started playing this game & found this video very useful, good job
It's so wierd to play a game without halu for me at this point. Feels like there are no fans

Zeta is great becuase apparently crits have a from 15 to 30% chance to get 50% more XP.
some characters like mumei and kaela also get stronger with more enemy spawns.
Saved, not killed

You can talk about Kusogaki shackles on your next video
forgot to mention the mesugaki shackle which removes the negatives of halu and other such debuffs powerful items can have when you fully upgrade the shackle.
Doesn’t work according to wiki.
Shackles don't work because Halu is a debuff on the enemies not the player unlike other debuff items
Correct and not only the wiki, dev specifically said on twitter that Shackles don't affect Halu
Is that Cannot's theme from Arknights? 👀
Edit: THERES ALSO PHANTOMS IS2 BOSS THEME
5 to 1 not 5 to 3. It says that in the wiki page under mechanics.
Tbe fact that the biggest joke item in the game is becoming the META, pleases me. 🤣🤣😅
if you want exp, just use lab coat.
no need to risk the game
