    I've been watching the NBA for over 3 decades now. People don't seem to understand that this kid was going to be greatest of all time. He was EASILY better than any of the old school greats that you routinely hear about. He had the quickness, speed, agility, strength, defense, ball handles, jump shot, lay ups, dunks, passes, you name it. The guy has a basketball IQ that the NBA had never seen before. Any of these "superstars" that you see running around today like Curry, Lebron, etc wouldn't even be a topic of discussion if Rose didn't tear his ACL. He was on pace to surpass Kobe's and Jordan's accolades by a LONG SHOT. He would've won at least 7-8 championships with that 09'-11' Bulls squad and would've resurrected the Bulls dynasty. D Rose was a FAR better player than Jordan was during his rookie years. D Rose walked into the league and played like a vet in his first week, that's the rarest thing you'll ever see with a player but 99% people overlook this.

      D Rose is my favorite player only behind mj, he was destined to be one of the greatest players, but gotta say his shooting never got to the point that you can say hes good at it, barely average during those days and below/bad if you compare to todays standards, that gives other pgs like curry or dame a considerable advantage over him in terms of consistency thru the years. His ability to attack the rim tho, he was the best at it by a massive margin, thanks to his athleticsm and good iq. If this guy had a more average 3pt shot and better knees he couldve been the best pg ever, easily averaging 30pt per night

    • @eureka0521
      @eureka0521 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I doubt that he's really been trying to polish his jump shot this year a lot more. Maybe he's saving it for the playoffs, but the athleticism itself is definitely still there he just manages it much more than he used too and he doesn't really go for explosive dunks anymore especially over people.

  • @josh7693

    Rose was a Ferrari Engine in a Honda Accord build. The guy was so amazingly explosive and fast, when his jumper was falling you were at his mercy. He had so much upside and he still hadn't reached his prime which is truly scary because he won the MVP in '11 at the tender age of 23 a year before the injuries started to pile up and stall what could've become the greatest guard to lace them up in Chi-town next to M.J.!!!

    Someone like Rose didn't deserve his career being ruined by injuries, makes me sad everything I think about it :( I think he would be better than curry rn if he was never injured but who knows

    Idk if it's just me but I watch his knees everytime he lands & takes off. And like I'm not a doctor or anything but I don't think it's natural for our knees to take that much pressure & especially the way he plays I'm not surprised he has been injury prone. But it could happen to any athlete. All you got to do is land or take off the wrong way.
