This song is so groovy and I absolutely love it. I've been a metalhead forever, but metal and rap have always had a very close relationship. There are some artists that do a great job integrating the two together like Tech N9ne. If Jinjer is something you enjoy, I would encourage you to check out the Cobra collab video between Megan Thee Stallion and another progressive metal band called Spiritbox. It is like some straight out of the late 90's rap metal and it's incredible.

If you're interested in a live performance from Jinjer, "Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev)" is my personal favorite. Also, another badass female fronted metal band I'd recommend is Spiritbox. Thier song "Circle With Me" has a great video and also has a live one take performance uploaded too so you can choose. The live version is a great showcase of Courtney's adeptness vocally. Especially how nimbly she can alternate her voice in a great balance of singing and screaming. Beyond that introduction I'd recommend thier latest EP 'The Fear of Fear' but beware. If you listen to the album in order you're gonna be diving in more than tip-toeing.
I saw Jinjer live this summer and they were opening for breaking Benjamin and Disturbed. Tati and the boys went harder than both bands combined! Everybody I talked to said Jinjer blew their expectations out of the water. They played this song live and ISTG Tati goes even lower live! Check out On The Top, Wallflower, and I Speak Astronomy next. Also, P.O.D. is releasing a brand new single on Friday featuring Tatiana! Her husband is the new drummer for P.O.D. so she had to do a feature! I'm hyped!

Napalm Records has a brilliant video of one of their older shows, and experiencing those vocals from a live performance is truly something else. Jinjer is one of the bands that got me into this kind of music. I hated it at first, but now I cant get enough of it.
Great reaction. Jinjer is definitely one of the best bands around. I got to see them live over the summer and they most definitely delivered. A couple other female fronted bands to check out are Nightwish (especially with Floor Janson) and Spiritbox.

Be careful tiptoeing, you might trip! Jinjer is a deep rabbit hole that you cannot (nor will you want to) crawl out of. 6 year fan here, minimum hour a day listening to. Most overall talent in one metal band in the world. Just my 2 cents!! 😎👊🏽👊🏽
The song is about collecting negativity and spiraling into intrusive thoughts. The garbage monster is a visual representation. I'd suggest On The Top live in Kiev with some heavy growls but also great belting.

Yup. Step by step into the vortex of metal. It can be quite a maelström at times, mind you. Maybe you check out Cerebral Bore - The Bald Cadaver? Cute song, wholesome. Like picking ducks. And feeding flowers. Or so. There's (imho) another good female singer, Som Plujmers. No clear singing though. Keeps you from joining in with the lyrics and all, you were close in this one right here. Careful Jinjer can be addictive, I can honestly say that Jinjer is one of the few bands that I can never get enough of.

Wallflower is a masterpiece and beautiful song/video with mostly clean vocals. Bad Water is all clean vocals and kinda a creepy video!
Yeah she is something else. BUT! Those 3 men playing are FREAKING genius and brutal. They drive that band.

That show sounds amazing. I love getting great lineups like that, reminds me of one I went to many years ago that was 10 Years, Mudvayne and Korn.
