I was expecting, thanks to the image of Hina, that this was going to be the piano song she'd be playing And now I'm imagining Hina playing this old classic piano and making this music play from it
Based on the sheet music in the PV, I think it's likely that this is a remix of that very song! Some people have already played it out on piano with a synth accompaniment, and the dissonances put into the notes sound peculiar until you realize that this song carries those same dissonances in the marimbas and distorted synths.
I love the part from 1:14 to 1:33, it is so beautiful. Fitting for a happy and romantic waltz. It's also a piece that is used in Hina's piano performance. It also makes me think of "Rainbow Waltz" by Wonder Egg Priority.
1:14 onwards reminds of tiny toons buster's hidden treasure in those waterfall levels before the ghost ship, i don't know why its sound kinda similar at least at the start.
His previous works from before Blue Archive like the Yume Kissaten album feels the same, very nice to know after 3 years he's paying tribute to his work in the past.
