I called my father, who lives 2 hours away and also dealing with cancer, to let him know. The next morning the nurse comes into my room and says, "Can your father come in?" I said, "whose father? "Mine?" My father walked in, and I yelled, "Daddy!" I was grown, with an adult child, but there is still nothing like a father coming to check on you. Thank you, God, for your grace that we are both still here. May God bless this child to always have a daddy that will fight for her.

I lost my dad last year and he was just like that. So loving and caring. He kept giving us kisses on our foreheads when we wouldn't expect it and tell us how much he loves all of his children. And the best part was that he was always smiling always 🥰 My dad had a tough life but told us how we his children lighten is life. I wish everybody to have loving and caring parents. The difference is real. ❤

Me too....when my daughter was in preschool she befriended a lil girl..that lil girl walked up to my husband when he was pickin our daughter up, she said "can you be my daddy"🥺....we both looked at eachother. He picked her up too but it hurt us to hear that..that was 21 years ago, she's now in med school and our daughter just graduated college....I want all babies to have mom and dad and a village if possible. .lil ppl grow up and we're so proud 🙌🤗
