Hello, thank you for the video. I have a question is there a certain type of plywood you use? Do you use a certain type of heat bulb or do you just use heat mats? Also what brand are those uvb strips and where can I find them. Thank you
Hi, so I have loads of videos covering my equipment setups specific to the snake species but I always use halogen lamps combined with flat rocks to create basking spots. I use a mix of reptile systems and arcadia t5 uvb kits, both are available in all reptile shops or online and the plywood is 18mm hardwood faced plywood.
Hey I know I’m late but I love this concept did you use anything to keep the wood from slowly rotting from the moisture or is it fine? Also is there anyway I can get the cuts? Or dimensions
Hi, the second part of this video series covers how I seal the vivariums against moisture. I can email you a cut list and drawing if you send me an email to reptileshednorwich@gmail.com
Hi mate just wondering for the bottom vivs top plinth how do you secure the middle of it? I assume you're using some L shaped brackets or something since the bottom plinth for the top viv is in the way.
@@norwichreptileshed Thank you! I'm making something a bit different now so I don't need the measurements but this has definitely given me the inspiration! Appreciate it! 🙌🏼
£240 for the wood, £72 for the glass and £20 for the tracks. The rest is reptile equipment and lighting. I also have enough off cuts to build two 4x2x2 vivariums
Very envious of your carpentry skills. I like the Texas barn idea for the rat snake.
I wouldn't call them carpentry skills but thank you!
They look well good, man!
Thanks!
They look fantastic. You make it look a lot easier than I assume it was lol. Definitely something I would like to try and do
Can I just say big props for not sticking ur snakes in a drawer!❤️
Thank you! Definitely isn't something that happens in here
I'm a fish keeper about to start my first dart frog set up...... Your video popped up now I'm hooked..... Good stuff brother
Thanks, I'm glad you like them! Enjoy building that dart frog terrarium!
Oooo I needed this!
Glad I could help!

Looking sick mate!
Thanks dude
Do you have a walk through of that really big beautiful enclosure in the back corner??
Hello, yes it's the "Epic Royal Python Enclosure" I have 2 build videos and 2 updates on the channel

Looks sweet bud! Using these as a base for mine being built over Christmas! Is that just normal wood filler you used for the edges of the ply?
Ah excellent! Yeah it's just standard interior/exterior filler, it'll be stained and varnished over anyway 👍

Hi, yes I use little brackets, I tried doing a crude pocket hole screw thing but without a jig it's pretty tough.
Where do you get your timber mate seems cheaper for me to buy pre made vivs at the minute
Wickes with trade discount. 7 sheets of ply makes this plus two 4ft vivariums. The wood set me back £240 delivered 👍
Nice work they look great am I right in saying that's 18mm ply?
Thanks! Yes 18mm hardwood faced ply 👍
What are the dimensions of the wood? Love the set up btw!
Thanks! If drop me an email I'll send you my plans - reptileshednorwich@gmail.com

Where do you get the glass from please
I order mine online from a local glass supplier called Norwich Glass Co. Any local glass supplier should be able to help 👍
What thickeness plywood??
18mm
How much did the whole thing cost
£240 for the wood, £72 for the glass and £20 for the tracks. The rest is reptile equipment and lighting. I also have enough off cuts to build two 4x2x2 vivariums
