Well one of the hidden aspects of this particular Toyota is that it has one of the best Toyota engines in it the 1GR-FE, even with 100’s of thousands of miles, this engine rarely ever needs repair, other than scheduled maintenance, and when it does need a repair, it’s nothing inside the Engine, and is relatively easy to fix, and ready to go 100’s of thousands of more miles. The transmission is time tested proven reliable. 2WD makes since it a lot of cases, your highest mileage vehicles are typically 2WD models. The ground clearance allows for some terrain clearance that other 2WD options don’t offer. As long as you’re not doing serious off-roading you can take it off the pavement with more peace of mind. For example if you needed to pull off the road in certain areas you may not be able to with a car or small suv with lower ground clearance. This thing could probably pull off to the side of road and manage a drop off nearly 2 ft, and pull back on the road, whereas a car or small suv could not. So it has capabilities that other vehicles don’t aside from the 4WD.
I had a buddy in high school who had a 1984 4Runner, one of the old ones with the plastic removable top on the back. He managed to flip it over pulling in to the parking lot at the high school the day before we graduated. Thankfully he wasn't hurt, they got a tow truck out and flipped it back over and he drove it home. He ended up throwing the plastic top away, using a circular caw to cut the mangled roof off, and he drove it around as a convertible that whole summer.
Bro you make me want to take away your driver's license if your driving like that if i wanted to But I agree. With these other people you're driving makes me so uncomfortable and it's giving me so much anxiety
Came here to insult your twitchy constant wheel touching….Good lord if I was sitting shotgun, you and I wouldn’t be friends. That shit would bother me constantly… Happy Thanksgiving

the 4runner is literally "why fix whats not broken"
The 4Runner is the cockroach of automobiles. It won't die. Ever.

You're a very jerky driver. You make tiny, jerky adjustments like an f1 driver.
Ayrton Senna was my third cousin twice removed
Nothing is wrong with that tho! He’s a great reviewer.
It’s ok, I do the same in my 2024 4Runner!
Great review!! How is the steering wheel when driving above 70 miles? Mine was a little shaky today but it comes and goes
I did not experience that issue while driving this car. Thank you for watching!
Had two 4runners with the same situation.
“Ryder. Even better. Even better than what? Walking?”
I do all kinds of reviews and I really enjoyed yours 😂👍
Thank you very much 😀
I get low 20’s mpg highway. You can turn off the lane warning bottom right button on steering wheel
Another great video! Thanks :)
Thank you for watching Marjorie :)
How's the legroom?

Your driving gives me anxiety, I couldn’t watch past 30 seconds 😂
Let’s put your junky driving skills aside; are u serious about 4Runner been 100% made in Japan????😮
Built in Tahara, Aichi, Japan
Why would anyone buy a 2WD 4Runner🤣🤣 - makes no sense!!
For the record, this was not my car. If I were to buy a 4Runner it would have to be a 4WD
They should call 2WD a 2Runner😂
Like Lamborghini owners, they go everywhere 200mph, make sense.
