DIY 2x4 Twin Bed Frame

- I made a twin size bed frame for my daughter made with 2x4s. I didn't want to spend to much money and enjoy doing this sort of thing. It was fast and easy and inexpensive, also very simple. Took me about 3 hours to measure, cut and assemble.
Long pieces on sides: 72"
Back and Front: 38"
Legs: Varies depending on mattress height
Inner long piece that the top boards sit on are 72" in long and were a 2x4 cut down 1.5" to accommodate the top boards. So it is 2"x1.5"
Top boards: 35"
You did a really good job on that bed for your daughter, I like the step by step and not the fancy other channels that make it so difficult and they use fancy tools,not everyone is rich.your channel is the best.

I made this bed but now I want to lift it into a loft bed can you make a video on conversion from regular twin to a lift bed like 5ft of floor

Were those 2x2s you used for the inside supports that holds all the middle pieces?
no, that was a 2x4 split in half
how many 2×4's did you need?
I don't remember. 1 each for the long portions (8ft) and about 3 or 4 for the rest
