This is amazing! I wish I could draw as well as you do. It's also nice to see more people use krita for making digital art. It's an amazing program in my opinion :D
the pint is that unlike its expensive competators, Krita is free unless one like to pay a donation (on Microsoft Store, the donation is $10) and it works excellent with Windows 10.

You're limiting yourself. Once you say that, you would never be able to step past that threshold. Think of it as something that you'd naturally achieve through time and effort.
Hi Radu, thank you for presentation! I see, Krita possibilities ... I draw/paint whole life, and know my "toos" quite well. I would like to take alternative as digital drawing/painting. I see, to know how Krita works is much more infos, as how works my watercolor. Can you give me advice, what is the best approach? Simply read manual and try? and experience with Krita tools will come with hours and hours of experimenting? I have digital display table xp pen artist pro 15,6. many thanks, Alex.
You have to work hard enough in Krita to learn the program. It's like any other software. A lot of work and a lot of passion. In Krita you will find some fantastic brushes. You can find many other brushes on deviantart.com All the best !
To open multiple documents in Krita: settings - configure krita - general - window - multiple document mode - subwindows - ok. Eventually restart Krita. Now you can open more documents. At the top right, press the - restore down button.
Compliment. Very beautiful. I paint surreal art. But you paint real things. Thats very difficult if you want to paint 1:1, which you do very, very good.
I'd be proud of my drawing was close to what it looks like at 1:00
Everything can be learned.
Even 0:30
King fisher is a beautiful bird. Loved the painting.

Krita 4 is a good program for digital painting.
What else would you use krita for lol that’s what it’s purpose is. It’s animation is sub par it’s highly directed towards digital art

Very very nice work...!! 👍👍👍
Thank you very much !
And you used mostly few brushes 😊 amazing skills
A good painting is not done in a blink of an eye! Whatever the medium, the art must "cook."
Superb work, lovely bird!
Thank you !
if I can achieve one fourth of your skills, i'd ve a happy camper.
Anyone can learn to do this. The point is not to give up.

Impresive work. Congrat!! Is it possible to structure windows like this in last version? i can't manage to do that! thanks!
At first go to: settings - configure krita - window - multiple document mode: subwindows.
Then select the window in the upper right corner.
@@rid2024 thank you! You are very kind :)
Are you color picking from the original picture to get your values and saturation?
Amazing😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Awesome
Foarte impresionant!
Nice
Good enough
Wow 😍
Holy Crap....WOW!!!!!
Anyone knows how to open the two images next to each other like that..please help
why does everyone (including me) like painting this bird so much?
I don't know. We need to find out. :)
Me too... i think it's rich in color but very simple.
welp time to go practice
I'll be back soon.
cool
Glad you like.
:)
My only issue is that you're picking colours directly from the photo. Other than that it's well painted!
That's so it can be as close to the original. And I don't see any issue with that
Also how do you have two canvases open at the same time (and next to each other)? If you understand what I'm asking. :'')

Radu Ion Dinescu thank you so much!
Thank you so much I was wondering, too. I'm new to krita and digital art and I love it!
Can you please do real-time videos of you painting?
Five and a half hours.
Who are these 4 down thumbers? Incredible accuracy. But need full normal speed playback movie.
Real recording has more than 5 hours of painting.
No one has the patience to look so much. :)
Wow
Wish you could do this in normal mode and explain what you are doing?
I don't speak english very well, and you wouldn't understand romanian.
What are the names of the songs?
pls, the are awesome
This songs are from the youtube audio library.
@@rid2024 Thank you, what's the name of the song starting at 9:29 ?
can you give me your brush set please? ro?
I use the default Krita + GDquest, Rad's, concept & illustration brushes and many others downloaded from Deviantart.
so similar to the real
Best update
What brushes did you use?
How do I open the Reference Image Tab? I'm using Krita 4.1.1.
The option no longer exists in Krita in that variant. But you have a new version in the toolbar. Reference Images Tool.
You can also try this plugin. github.com/antoine-roux/krita-plugin-reference
actually how much time do you spend...
Five and a half hours for this painting.
Compliment. Very beautiful. I paint surreal art. But you paint real things. Thats very difficult if you want to paint 1:1, which you do very, very good.
Thank you so much !
I appreciate !
How did you open that reference picture side by side
import image , import as reference image , click on the PIN icon and it will move the reference image
is there a link to download your brush set?
I did not upload a brush set yet.
Maybe in the future.
Radu Ion Dinescu I'm just wondering bc I can't find the brush you used to sketch in the basic outline and colors
The brush can be found in this bundle: deevad v8-2.bundle.
The brush is - deevad 2a paint sketch.
With this I made 98% of the painting.
what is the brush called?
But the picture already exists in full detail. Why just copy the whole picture over without any stylization :()
are these default brushes?
Not all.
Are u using wacom table...? If yes.. which one?
I use a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet - small edition.
What were some of the brushes used?
Mostly I used the Charcoal Rock Soft brush. You can also find it in Krita 4.2.0 pre alpha.
cintiq right?
Not. Intuos 4 small.
I do not have Cintiq. It's too expensive for my budget. Maybe one day... :)
Do you do tutorials?
Maybe I'll do it in the future. Stay tuned.
Is this real-time? If not, how long did the painting take in real time?
The real time of this painting is 5 and a half hours.
Hold on a minute. Krita 4.0 removed the ref. Image docker. Howd you do that?
I used a beta version.
Radu Ion Dinescu oh lol. Too bad. I was hoping tha there was a was a way to get it back
Krita promises that ref. image will return to version 4.1
@@rid2024 Hi, is it available now? can you help me find it?
@@InkRebellion I put a link in the description.
What brushes did u use to paint sir?
It can be seen in the lower left corner. It is a native brush of the software.
@@rid2024 wow thanks, now you've boosted my motivation in learning to draw in krita, thanks a lot!
@@winter_metal You can find brushes for Krita on DeviantArt.
wow... the bird looks so realistic. do you manage to make money out of digital art?
Avoids the texture on the log 😂😂don’t blame you it probably take longer than the actual bird
can we blend colours in Krita?
Yes, absolutely.
Nice. Are you using shortcuts to increase/decrease brush size? Which are they?
I use the tablet's touch ring.
do you have kingfishers there too?
Nope.
sad... It's a really famous bird in our region ^^
Do u have Instagram or any website where u post ur art works?
Some information can be found in the channel description.

Not. I have many personal projects.
Esti român?
Da.

I think you are good in painting but i wander why someone spend 5 hours in painting something that existed already as a Photo?! I don't get it
Most artists paint or draw by reference to improve their skills and evolve in the field. To become better artists.
I'd be proud of my drawing was close to what it looks like at 1:00
