seems you could also sew both sides together from the inside (so the edges just come together same as high quality jeans and whatnot). This is how all my italian (& french) day cravats are made. But i was going to ask if you had a current template to make the folds most cravats have? The neckband area usually has 3 folders which can extend to widen along the neck if need, but the way it's sewn accross they stay folded.

Hi, sorry for the very late reply. I would add the interlining in when sewing the 2 cravat pieces together. Place a piece of interlining/interfacing on top of the 2 pieces (when you're pinning them right-sides-together), and make sure it's the same shape but minus the seam allowance the whole way around. That's if you're using sew-in.
