Can this work over wifi? I have 2 old i3 computers at home for 2 users but I recently build a quite powerful Gaming PC with Ryzen 2700X and I'm wondering if the old ones can be connected to the new gaming PC for uses like office applications, video streaming and some gaming over wifi. Though the older ones are quite far apart in different rooms of a 3 storey house connected to the internet using google wifi. The new PC is connected to the main router using a cable with a 1Gbps internet subscription. Thanks in advance :3
Hardware-intensive applications are processed via server-side and accessed via a thin client; whereas, a standard desktop processes information via client-side. Sorta in a nutshell lol
Some thin clients are powerful enough to process the application client side instead of relying on the server to process the application. The HP T620 plus I own (I bought it to use as an HTPC) came with a cut down version of Windows 7 and only had a 16GB SSD which was practically all taken up by the OS, it can take up to 16GB ram but came with 4 GB installed and has a AMD quad core CPU and a AMD R3 8400 onboard GPU. This unit has/has enough grunt to process the application client side but lacked space to store too many applications. Now my second thin client is much older and runs Windows CE (a wyse winterm) it only had enough grunt and ram and storage to run the OS and required software to connect to the server (although it did have a version of internet explorer installed on it) it relied on the server to process the application.

On the network ofcource but u need a storage server and needs to have windows already installed so what the thincleint does is it is a pc that does not have a hdd so you can do gaming (please do not becuse it is not powerfull) and stuff

what you call a thin client is not as thin in its' experience, as eBox2300SXA, the i486 nofpu pandoric box of suffering, that actually has to make you recompile ancient 2.6.** linux kernel of preferred distribution on some other computer, and rebuild the bootable image so that you just could start using it. of course after that you can do remote desktop or some workspace client, but first time when you get the device, you just don't know what to do with it. it is not that it is useless, it is just your lack of knowledge, but you want to throw it into trash for first week or so. this device is really so brutal, that it would beat me if we fought.
