I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!! Such a unique take on paranormal investigations, not just another found footage horror movie. Its in spanish with english subtitles. I was engaged from beginning to end! Great acting and story. If you like paranormal horror movies I highly recommend!!
Some of the most amazing movies I've watched have been foreign. Shudder has been a great place for horror! I don't mind subtitles plus it's a cool way to learn new languages!
This was truly scary, very impressed. Great concept. Not original, but whats important they utilize intelligent horror tropes and scare techniques to great effect. Who cares if the backstory is dry (or practically non-existent)., actually part of what makes this great is we never really know for sure why this is all happening and what triggered the paranormal events although by the end u should understand
@@Acrendon444 some good ones on shudder are Haunt, belzebuth, mandy, the void (one of my favs), hell house 1,2 and 3, starry eyes, the exorcist 3, Gwen, train to busan, the wailing, audition, and if you're looking for a great tv show to watch channel zero is an awesome anthology horror tv show, it originated on sci-fi but shudder has it, I started watching and binged watched the first 2 seasons, hope this helps!

It's a good movie. Well made. It was definitely not shocking or terrifying. Scary at times, yes, but not scary enough to keep me awake all night. Worth watching though.
I'm not sure, as a horror movie fan, that any movie has ever kept me up throughout the night. Lol. It's not always about the jumpscares or scary vusuals such as a scary faced demon, it's about how they build suspense and if you can guess what is about to happen or not.
Just watched it a second time. Scared the crap out of me again. Truly creepy and genuinely terrifying film (and I'm a horror junkie). Don't expect explanations. Sometimes stories don't have resolutions. There's one scene here that was clearly ripped off by another more recent movie that was a huge hit last year.

The movie is in Spanish, seriously, big deal. The reading will not get in the way of the good stuff, so don't let that be the reason for not checking it out! In this flick, there is a scare for everyone. ;-)

You may have already watched the movie I am about to suggest but if you're looking for something sorta evil but paranormal I would suggest Hell House LLC. If Terrified is a 10 (of course it is) then Hell House is about a 6. The scares are pretty good the storyline is decent and the acting is so/so. It is what you would expect a found footage movie to be if people in it took a few acting lessons. If you like Zombie flicks, I'd suggest Train to Busan this one is Korean but I assure you the language does not take away from the edge of your seat action.

Watched this today after seeing all the comments, but it was such a disappointment. Felt like the movie was short, no explanation, the characters were bland, and everything ended so sudden. Kinda pity since the opening was very strong and it made me genuinely scared. But after that everything feels bland.

Shudder has never worked. ...........i have never been able to watch anything on it. And the customer support has never suggested anything other than reset my modem or uninstall and reinstall the app. so no. I can't recommend it.

Shudder has a fantastic offering, actually. It's a streaming service I just can't stop. It dominates the horror streaming world. Yes, there are foreign films, but I look at that as a great thing. I'm kinda done with the remake and "part 47" of American horror these days. ;)
I just saw his new film, When Evil Lurks, and it was also a unique take on a tired genre of horror. So good. Can’t wait to see the rest of his movies!
