Hi Dave. I was with my family in Amboseli between 3rd-5th April 2021 (during the lockdown) and in one of our morning game drives, among the beautiful sightings, we spotted an awesome blue Land Rover drive by in the opposite direction. It had a diplomatic plate number. We love watching your videos and got so excited we wanted to turn back and say hi but weren't sure it was you.
I don't think it was us haha. Our videos are filmed in advance and not always in order and we didn't go in Amboseli in April I don't think. :P Hope you had a great time tho!

On the avocado tree; the significance of planting any plant and especially a tree in a "foreign" land is symbol of everlasting tie with that place. That's why it's a custom in Kenya that dignitaries (presidents,royals,envoys, celebrities etc) on state visits,a tree planting ceremony is held to cement the ties.
Your ties with Kenya will be more significant in that avocado tree than with anything else. 👌
