Google bought focals by north and killed it. They shut the server down and killed any working focals rendering them useless.
I think anyone who has em still can get a refund. Considering Google never truly shut down Google Glass, simply made it a commercial only product - we can only hope that they bought Focals for another consumer based release.

I'm kind of more into the Lenova idea rather than trying to fit a battery, memory and storage into a single, face-held device. Give me good screens, audio etc (things that _have_ to be on the face) and pass the rest from an outside source with (gasp) a _wire!_

I was very disappointed when Google bowed to pressure from the yokels with their nutty conspiracies. Glass (or any of its kin) make sight-seeing, hiking, working - any activity in which you desire a photo and your hands are tied up - so much easier. We travel and have evolved from cameras to ipads to phones but there is still all the associated problems.
The reason they didn't continue with glass was because there wasn't developer interest.

So the first one was discontinued in 2017 according to second google hit; Intel bought the company who made them and shut production down. Nice video, well researched.
