I love the way the Juki’s purrrrr.

Beautiful machine. I am looking at getting one. I have 8100e. You ment to say clutch motor. I bought my juki and I was recommended clutch motor. I battled year until I went and got servo motor. The frustration of clutch motor 😢. Nothing beats extra functionality. My 8100e has no extras.

Nice machine. Congrats!!... One of my machines is a 5550 and I love it...if I get an additional one, I'll definitely get a programmable one.

Hi! I have the same model. I cannot figure out how to get needle down to operate. Help!

Hmmmmm I’m not sure. Do you have the manual?

I have a hard time with this one at work. Every time I try to raise the pressing foot up to fix fabric, it cuts the thread off. I had to disable cutting function and do it manually. I also can’t find tutorials for setting up all other settings. For example, ABCD letters represent what?

The letters at the top are a setting for sewing labels in bulk I believe. You can set the length for each side (abcd) and the machine will sew that amount of stitches then stop. So you can sew on labels or pockets etc quickly without watching for the edge.

also yes it takes some getting used to and finding the right finesse as far as raising the presser foot without cutting the thread

I too have a Juki made in Japan. LU-1510N-7 for near 15 yrs. Upholstery/Canvas. Owned many of that class machines in my 50 odd yrs of that work. Would never go back to that class manual types. i.e. 1510 or 563 juki's etc. Waste of time and sewing performance. Try to tell fellow canvas/upholsters about it over the years but they shrug it off. Back when I bought it we have one small issue that the dealer couldn't get fixed. Timing issue. He had the head of Juki (engineer) of North America come to my place. Fixed it in a second. Ha. He said I was the only upholster/canvas person he knew of that had one. I always tried new tools, etc. I wish I bought this machine if that made one 50 yrs ago.
