Lol nice Tyranitar, I just purchased this pistol. Waiting to pick it up! I like what you did with the grips. I too, have a smaller hands and I might have to look into reducing the width of the grip.
I *love* my SP-01. I just installed a spring upgrade kit from M-CARBO trigger spring kit. I wish I had known about CZ a few years ago before I got all Glock crazy. But I guess it is better to have a diverse assortment of weapons. I also love my Beretta M9, and my Dan Wesson PM-7. I also love my Glock 20. Jesus. I love all of my guns!!!!!!! Great video, good sir. I too am in Kalifornia.
I bought a 75 SP-01 Competition (it looks just like yours, it comes stock with blue anodized aluminum grips but with the CZ logo, and they also come in red) a few weeks ago, the 75 line are superb guns. I polished _everything,_ it's smooth as glass now and I converted it to SAO along with cutting the hammer hooks way down, it breaks at around 2 pounds with zero creep (which it had a lot of on the stock hammer hooks), and I got the reset distance down to under a tenth of an inch so it's a speed demon now. CZ is more or less the only company I will buy a handgun from anymore, I also own a P10F and love it too. I'm looking at the TS2 or TSO as well, once I get some more cash saved up, those are _sweet_ guns. My SP-01 is insanely accurate and fast, it stays on target, hardly has any muzzle rise, has low recoil, is reliable as hell and looks darn good to boot. I absolutely love steel body handguns now, I'll take the extra weight any day.
Awesome man. I took mine and shoot it back to back with my new sig sauer p229 elite and found myself much more accurate with my sp01. Could be bc I have much more practice with it than my new sig but it's an incredible machine.
I have their rare 122 sport in .22 lr. My favorite pistol by far. I also have CZ 50 with wooden handgrips in .32 auto. Sold my Glock 17 and now I am saving up money for Sp-01 Shadow. CZ is pinacle of pistol making.
I pick up BOTH my Blue AND Red models of the CZ 75 SP01 Competition tomorrow. Not as light a trigger as yours...but much better than most standard 75's. Each comes with 17+ matching colored plus 4 shot (extended) bases giving a total of 21 + 1 rounds! Manual and firing pin safety. Eat your hearts out California...
