The rendition was fantastic and the guy who jumped in “mid song” made us howl.😂🎼.
It was made even more special because Conwy has many personal happy memories for us both. A lovely getaway, not too far, lovely scenery and “mostly food food”.
Firstly the weather looked perfect.👌. I love how you guys “share” and sometimes “feed each other”. It’s really tender and genuine. It’s also a safe bet to let the other person person “taste it first”!!😂. It seemed pretty decent but not much crunch on the old “knife slice fish test”.
It just looked anaemic to me. Fish and chips should normally have a “golden look”. Too greasy for me and enough filing. I love how you do the “point of view” angles showing the “quality of the food” too.
A plate of batter!!😂 A fish without batter!!😂. I see where you’re coming from with this one. The coffee was the best thing about it.
I don’t think Colin could fit in the little house!!
Lots of presents today. We’re off for a walk in Sefton Park then going to randomly chose a restaurant in “Lark Lane”. Or we may go to town. But unplanned, spontaneous and fun. We will let you know where we go when we know!!😂.
Food wise it was a three out of ten from us…you guys always get a ten out of ten from us…but for the song and the message it is an 12 out of ten!!

We didn’t go in the little house this time but we did about 30 years ago … Colin had to go in alone I think his head touched the roof 😂😂
Food wise, from this chippy was not great …

Have you any idea why the batter was like that? Oil not hot enough/not cooked long enough/oil not good? Any chip shop owners out there that can shed some light?
We think it’s a mixture of everything - the oil not hot enough, the fish not cooked long enough … we wouldn’t mind waiting an extra 10 minutes if it meant the fish was perfect …

Oh such a shame another chippy not so good ,the fish looked awful. I feel sorry for the public with families spending a fortune for fish to e served up a plate of greasy fish not a good advert for them.

Guess you don't buy fish from Wales . Not fish but I remember getting pizza from Blackpool when me and my wife came back in 2000 from Canada here .Just thought everything was greasy . They deep fried my eggs for breakfast in the B and B .Ha,ha . Had some great chippy meals when I lived over there back in the day.

Fish looked a bit on small side, but looked tasty enough. Batter looked soggy, as it hadn’t been cooked long enough, and was greasy. Gravy looked gloopy. As peas, I am not a fan of mussy.

So disappointing for you both. Greasy uncooked batter is awful and the gravy you could wallpaper your front room with it. Maybe they should just be chip shop not a fish & chips shop as the chips look nice. Perhaps good fish & chips are an English thing not a Welsh thing? Hope you find a good one soon. Loving your vlogs.
