Danilo was making his first start since he severely broke his ankle just six minutes into the first game of the season against Bournemouth. He had been sidelined for around five months and only returned to action in the closing minutes of the FA Cup match against Luton Town. Honestly, it looked like he had picked up right where he left off-his movements were smooth, and his passing was exceptional. He will only improve from here.
Another surprise was the inclusion of Ibrahim Sangare on the bench. He started the season well but also suffered an injury, keeping him out for a similar duration as Danilo.
During the game I thought Danilo was a bit off the pace which is understandable. He made a good few passes and was positionally sound but lost the ball easily a couple of times that could have resulted in Brighton scoring. I might be the only one that wasn't _that_ impressed but it will take time to get him back to full match fitness.
@@ab8jeh he created the first goal mate
@@Bov_Trait Yeah I know mate, I was there.
@ nice? so was I
@@Bov_Trait I wasn't there, sadly a continent lays between me and the City ground, however, I'm seeing a change of gear coming with the improvement of Danilo's match fitness and Sangare coming into the equation. Both were looking very good in the pre-season. Dominguez and Yates may have their work cut out to keep a starting position. But what a great couple of players to have coming on at the 60 minute mark. Elliot Anderson is starting to look like a young Roy Keane. His engine is WoW, his speed and distribution are excellent. What a player.
Antony Elanga deserves a lot of respect for how much he has improved at Forest. Same goes for Neco Williams, Ryan Yates and even Ola Aina.
As a brighton fan, this vid made me understand Hurzeler's tactics this season. haha
Think the handball for the sixth goal wasn’t given as the Brighton player fouled the player who handled it.
Agreed. If they disallowed it for handball then it was a penalty for Forest for the foul.
@TrickyTree84 I agree
Yeah, so it was gonna be a penalty or a goal - may as well just give the goal 😅
I think it was good skills from the referee to play the advantage after the good work done by Awoiyi
What a great Analysis - Well Done
Makes sense. You can't be so clueless giving up space like this. Huzeler needs to learn game management more.
Completely agree mate, been impressed with his and Brighton’s attacking intent this season. But I think this will have given a hit to his overall level, still the youngest manager in the league so plenty of time to learn. Forest were sensational as well.
Thanks for watching mate!
I never thought I would live to see the day we win a game 7-0
Lamptey was wsrned by the ref a few times before he tackled Gibbs White to the ground, so it was given. Brighton had more possession, but did nothing with it. Forest look dangerous with every attack!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you mate! I appreciate you!❤
goal 6 their was two reason for no hand ball. VAR check was first being the player was pushed (fouled) in a score scoring opportunity before the hand ball (2nd penalty) and 2nd was he fell on it from being fouled (wasnt on purpose), so it was allowed as they continue play im guessing.
It would of Been a Penalty but the VAR Said it was a Accidental Handball
The handball for the sixth goal he got fouled and for that reason couldn’t be able to fully control himself making him handball
Great video and good points. However Forest played a back 3 with wingbacks and not a back 4.
Sangare got clattered from the back so any handball should have been void anyway.
I Think it would have been a penalty if williams didn't score
Another Kiwi signed by Notts
Nottingham Forest signed a Kiwi, Notts (a different team playing in League 2) signed a player from Guinea.
