  • Drawing extensively from the Warren Report, this docudrama characterizes the two most significant personalities involved in the Kennedy assassination. Lee Harvey Oswald (Frederic Forrest) is presented as a troubled loner with a speckled past looking to merely acquire fame for killing the president. Jack Ruby (Michael Lerner), on the other hand, is shown to be rather warm-hearted and patriotic, his killing of Oswald being motivated exclusively by his inordinate affection for the president.
First aired on February 8, 1978. For education, entertainment, enlightenment and inspiration. We hope you enjoy!

If there was a second shooter, to make sure the job was done, it still was coordinated by Russia as get back for the insult of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Oswald trained in Russia and just before the day of the assassination Oswald visited the Russian consulate in Mexico to get his game plan. I believe Ruby was a Russian agent in the US whose job was to take out Oswald so he could not divulge the truth of Russian involvement.

There was a lot of confusion that resulted from his being called away from the position he obviously intended to assume.

My theory is yes there was an attempted on jfk from behind,
the first shot ment as a head shot missed ricocheted off of the top edge of the windshield striking
      Mr. Kennedy in the throat
(all be it a lucky shot for lack of better word) but not the kill shot,
Not the kill shot by no means!
Now here's where it gets sticky
Everyone knows the Kennedys where indeed having marital problems
& That Marilyn Monroe was the side chick of the marital problems.
Also everyone knows the jfk files at that time had been sealed for 50years
      THE STICKY THEORY IS THIS
Yes there was an assassination of jfk
      or
      was it a hitman?
      Or perhaps an internal operation?
Herhaps all of this was taking place at the same time!
      "nightmare on elm Street"
I've seen the film everyone has seen
On that fateful day filmed in 1963
      Where the president was shot.
I saw in the film jfk was first struck in the throat evidenced by him grabbing his throat with both hands, you can also see in the film
Jackie Kennedy move in twords jfk in what appears to be curiosity then the kill shot happens, oddly there was two shots one small entrance wound from the front in the throat then an enormous exit wound to the back of the head with what was reported brain mater scattered on the trunk of the car.
I believe that when the first shot failed to enter the back of the head Jackie Kennedy stuffed a fire arm in JFK's entry wound & initiated the kill shot passed the fire arm to the secret service agent as she was sliding over the trunk that was in charge of her safety who was the gentleman that jumped on the back of the car in the film.
In short Jackie Kennedy delivered the kill shot & the government covered this whole bag of shit up & locked it away for more than 50 years......

Alan Lerner plays the Chicagoan Jack Ruby with a thick New York accent. Many of the hairstyles on the men are pure mid-1970s, and early panoramic shots of Dallas' downtown show tall buildings of the steel and glass style that did not exist in 1963. Oswald's child shown playing in her yard alone in early scenes looks four years old, yet his oldest child was born in early 1962, making her not yet 2 years old in November 1963. @@danielgregg2530 How do you think we know of Ruby's involvement with organized crime in the first place? Just by sitting back in armchairs and making wild assumptions? No there have been many investigators who did the real "police work" that the corrupt Dallas police should have done but did not do. These investigators went out and interviewed Ruby's childhood friends, his various business associates, the bartenders, the waitresses, the strippers , and the regulars who worked in or went to his clubs, his landlords, his neighbors, members of organized crime in Chicago, in Vegas, in Florida and in Dallas. Friends who saw him meet big organized crime figures for dinner. People who were involved with his gun running operations to Cuba to try to overthrow Castro - a major area of "business" for the mob at the time. Numerous employees of his club who even saw him even hanging out with Oswald in his club. But let me get this straight are you really suggesting that RUby had no links to organized crime and that he killed Oswald because he was shameful that Kennedy had been killed in Dallas and wanted to save Jackie Kennedy from having to return to Dallas for a Oswald trial??

    • @danielgregg2530
      @danielgregg2530 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@julianciahaconsulting8663 I think Ruby was a titty bar owner and there is always the prospect that he could have been involved with prostitution and drugs and gambling and selling hooch or even cigarettes without collecting taxes and any other number of sins, iniquities, and crimes. "Organized crime" as you so grandiloquently put it is well known to take an interest in all these kinds of things, but that does not make him a mafia *hit man*. If the mafia wants to hit somebody, they will hire the real thing.
Moreover, there is nothing else remotely logical about Ruby's behavior in connection with the murder of Oswald. I don't want to be typing all morning but it amazes me that gals like you never notice that this shooting was not only unplanned but unplannable. Even at the police station nobody knew when Oswald was going to be transported from the station because they were running behind schedule and after missing the originally scheduled time they were running way late and playing it by ear. Moreover, even if Ruby had notice from some source of the originally scheduled time, HE WAS NOT THERE AT THAT TIME. HE WOULD HAVE MISSED OSWALD ALTOGETHER. He was still at home in bed, where he was reached by phone by one of the girls that worked at his club less than an hour before the shooting.
Not only that, but running way late for such an important mission, he would not have then paused on his way to intercept Oswald way late to wire 25 bucks to that impecunious stranded stripper from Western Union, and he would not have bothered to bring his dog (which got left in his car) with him! And even if you could somehow explain all these these implausibilities, there was never any guarantee he could have gotten near Oswald, as indeed a police officer had been stationed at the head of the driveway he entered by just to keep people like him OUT, and only a failure by that officer to do his job let him get in. What the hell would he be expected to rely on -- a Jedi mind trick?
Frankly, if this was an operation of the mafia it is hard to see how they ever could have survived their first two weeks in America. Ruby would have been the Maxwell Smart or Inspector Clouseau of hit men: a guy who attains his goal by pure accident.
Lastly, you conveniently overlook all the real evidence of his motive, provided by his sister, his temporary roommate, his advertising vendor at the Dallas Morning News, a former girlfriend, and even once well-known national journalist Ike Pappas, etc., that he wasn't wrapped to tight to start with, and THEN he became unhinged about the assassination. (Pappas, a voluble cynical New Yorker, stated volubly later after dealing with him only twice before the killing that he was a real weirdo that left him too uncomfortable even to eat a sandwich Ruby offered him.)
I could go on, but whatever some divine being might have put me on Earth for I don't think it is to waste any more time than necessary arguing with people whose academic records are no doubt festooned with innumerable marks below "B", or those with paranoid personality types. As a thinker you leave too much to be desired to evaluate any further here. Let us just say that when the law professor antagonist in THE PAPER CHASE regaled his incoming new class with his metaphor of "a skull full of mush", he was referring to newly entering students who at least were smart enough to get accepted to Harvard Law School, which surely, you have not done. Now go away and stop bloviating at me before I taunt you a second time.

People I talked with who were adults when this happened, the Republicans hated Kennedy, the Democrats loved him. There were Americans who cheered when he died, but most were just shocked that he’d been murdered. They felt deep sympathy for Jackie, who had just lost their son Patrick 2 months earlier. This was her first trip with JFK since their son had died. When you look at what she went thru in the second half of 1963, it’s amazing she kept her sanity. No wonder she married Onassis and left America.

I also put myself through school driving my dad's taxi. I rode Jim Garrison 3 times a week. This movie and everything else is all BS. The Sicilian hit man was brought in by Marcelo for Bush and the CIA. Then Carlos said " You know it's something when someone can kill the President and get away with it?? The Jew Mafia covers all Israel's moves and Israeli Mossad and CIA are linked because Rothschilds and other Banker Families run the West. Every character is just terribly tragic: Kennedy was mired in political and financial scandal and gross promiscuity, as well as subsisting on a cocktail of painkillers so he could somehow keep functioning through the excruciating pain he was enduring from his Adison’s Disease, Jackie kept it together on the surface with superhuman dignity and grace, but was a woman broken by JFK’s infidelities and by the loss of baby Patrick, Oswald himself was a not unsympathetic figure, like a character by William Faulkner, a disaffected young idealist, a rebel without a cause, Marina Oswald had been a lovely young woman, clever and elegant, the niece of a KGB chief, she somehow found herself stuck in dead-end provincial America, and Ruby, about whom much less has been said, seems to have been a poor lost soul, raging, delusional and obsessive, straight out of Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman”. Ruby did Oswald a favour by shooting him as he did, sparing him the ordeal of imprisonment, trial and execution. They were all just terribly human, by no means the worst of people, all yearning for a better world but deeply flawed. Killers and killed, now they are all at peace.

    • @Gremllion
      @Gremllion ปีที่แล้ว

How is someone at peace that is a murderer? You reap what you sow. You don't have much time to wake up to the fact that there's a heaven and a hell and only few will find eternal life sad Christ himself who died for you so you can come as you are and receive free eternal life but yet your pride keeps you away along with religion which has gone apostate for almost a hundred years. Reading your Bible and praying for Christ the reveal himself and getting with the home Church then surrendering your life to Christ is going to be your only way out of everything that's coming down. Your alternative is the Beast system owned by the bankers who tell you they are luciferians and read and live by the t a l m u d. Read some of the t a l m u d that says you can rape and have sex with anything from an infant up and cut their throat and drink their blood and they are a master race and the rest of us should die with some left to be their servants. Then read the Bible starting in the Book of John or Matthew 24 would be a good start. The death in the Old Testament is because of Genesis 6 the Fallen Angels came down and had sex with the women and that DNA went into all the animals and everything and that's why Noah's flood and then they were not destroyed so they came back and have been doing it again for a long time. Where do you think AI comes from. There are no aliens only Fallen Angels and Demons but of course you'd have to read God's love letter to know these kinds of things. Otherwise you'll take the wide path that Christ said people who rejected him would take and you will perish just like JFK Ruby Oswald Johnson and many many more as they are burning with weeping and gnashing of teeth as we speak forever. That is not peace. Our creator is a just creator

JFK’s “gross promiscuity” would probably have been revealed to the American people in a 2nd term if he had lived. The myth of “Camelot” never would have been allowed to flourish and take hold in the American psyche, because Jackie would probably have left him after he had left the Presidency in disgrace with his reputation in tatters. Oswald’s bullets in Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963, tragically took JFK’s life, but saved his reputation, as Jackie could then promote the fairy tale of “Camelot” to honor her brutally murdered husband. Oswald’s superb marksmanship changed history. Literally. Of this, there can be no doubt. Oswald had no way of knowing that JFK’s marriage to Jackie was as broken and problem filled, as was his marriage to Marina. If Marina had reconciled with Lee and had received him at the Paine house on the night of 11/21/63, perhaps the terrible tragedy of Dallas never would have happened. History could have been changed with one event of sexual union and reconciliation between Lee and Marina. JFK’s life could have been saved by sex; instead, his life was destroyed by the lack of it. The supreme irony to a man who had such an extremely high libido.
