I think Midas actually died because Ascendant Midas has a style that looks like he was from the Underworld but I don't think he is fully dead because he returned as his human form as seen in the Rise of Midas loading screen or maybe the green style of Midas means that he will take over as King of the Underworld
Did you know Midas is Zues biological son sense it was confirmed that the fortnite Midas is the king Midas from Greek mythology that means Zeus is his dad because Zeus got with a human and ditched them and she married a king and that’s how Midas became a king

Thinking he is dead, he places his left hand in the lava, which burnt off.” Fortnite’s Midas is missing his left hand though not to lava, but he is able to turn the lava into gold. This is also the manner that Kratos kills him as he throws Midas into the lava and the lava turns into gold. I think it is possible that Fortnite’s Midas could be linked or referenced to god of war. (Just to clarify I do not play god of war or know much about it I just found out about this on fandom so you could look into it yourself.)

Uhmm you actually got a few things wrong marigold and Midas are not dating it’s been confirmed by the creator of her skin that she’s just a gender bent snapshot of him and that’s why they are so similar she’s also not Jules’s mother either the relationship she has with Midas is a sibling like bond so that means she would be like jules’s auntie and you basically just told the story of Greek mythology Midas which the Fortnite Midas is completely different the only thing they have in common is their names and the fact they can turn things into gold also you forgot to mention the fact he used to work at I.O but then again it seems like you haven’t really done your research so I wouldn’t expect you to know that.

Dude the story confirms Marigold is one of Midas's daughter's. Jule's is the other daughter he kept away because she didn't get the golden touch and have the same power so he wanted to keep her safe at arm's length. Dialogue pretty much confirms it but in short Marigold is the tough older sis who inherited the Golden Touch and Jules is a genius tech he wants to keep safe. It's different from Greek lore. The fact you opened the video he had a daughter with his daughter is cringe..

She is basically the daughter who goes on the front lines and got excited when her dad busted out of the underworld. Her mom is Rio btw Aka midas' wife. Both Midas and Marigold get pissed when she gets found as a Golden female skeleton turned by Oro.
@@Scyan he is indeed a tragic character, Former IO operative at the level of Salome who knew how the storm works and had to disguise his work so he made islanders go chaotic. He had to kill his turned wife and give his own life to let both his daughters live. The whole reason he went Rogue from the IO is because his family actually took the ageless deal from the IO and worked for them loyally but it's the reverse result of Jonesy's whose family didn't accept and he outlived them. So Midas thinking if they worked loyally with the IO they would be safe until they encountered the anomally of Oro and Rio was the first to investigate and disappeared. Midas was focused on running things for the IO until he found out about Rio through Marigold. Salome never told Midas directly about Rio's fate so he would keep working and thats when he went rogue.
@@Scyan It's messed up but Salome Gaslighted every major character. Jonesy is the result when the family didnt take the protection and you out live them. Midas is when your family accepts the protection but they dont tell you when your other family die so you act like puppets.

Something funny is that in the real Greek Mythology story, Marigold is the name of his daughter (Some others believe the daughters name is Zoe) Though in Fortnite the daughter is confirmed to be Jules I think
