I never realized that Malefor was never really beaten. Spyro and Cynder were BARELY hanging on in the final breath battle, and Malefor popped right back up, not even remotely tired or hurt. I only now realized that the spirits that sealed him away were spirits of Ignitus. This was the guy who's entire life was spent trying to beat this psycho, and from beyond the grave, FINALLY got the winning kill on his nemesis.

PhoenixKev I feel bad for him too he was a purple dragon who was just like Spyro when he was younger the first Purple Dragon ever known and he could've been something more if he haven't been corrupted by a true hidden unknown dark entity who is the true main antagonist that made him turn against his kind and caused him to become evil and this unknown dark entity is the true main antagonist of The Legend of Spyro Videogame Series. We could've found who or what it is if they had continued Legend of Spyro after Dawn of the Dragon that takes place right after Malefor's defeat.

It happens a lot to us but we don't see the consequences because they aren't that big. However, the effects are far more spectacular(in a bad manner) when you're a being capable of destroying everything in your path.

None of the other Spyro villains can come close to Malefor at all, that guy is basically the very evil much more ruthless than even the villains who use magic to cause trouble, on top of that, Malefor is just physically too strong for any of them, even Red can't match him at all.
