Materials:
1 piece of 20 gauge square wire, 12 inches long each
24 gauge half-round wire(no need to measure and pre cut, just keep it on the spool and use as needed)
Faceted Stone (mine is 14mm tall teardrop Swarovski Crystal)

Your work is beautiful, what do you treat your metal with to keep from changing?
I usually oxidize it to darken it for a more antique look, since it would have darkened naturally anyways

You are so talented I thought about putting a couple beads in the front maybe to tighten it would be nice 💜 would you try that?
I'm not 100% sure what spots you'd put the beads, so I can't speak for the tightening, but they'd definitely be a pretty decoration!

I love this so much! Do you think it could be created with a flat back?
I'm not sure to be honest because mine was a bit wobbly until I did that very last step where I lock the point on the back in place, but cabochon would be just flat on back. I'll brainstorm what can be done

Oxana, would you please do this to some raw rubies or sapphires? Do I need to have them sent to you? I love faceted gems. But I also love natural stones, not all, but many.
The problem with raw stones is that they can be so many different irregular shapes it is hard to make a tutorial that would work for them all. I'll look through my stash I think I might have a few raw little stones, I'll try to think of some kind of technique that can be applied to them

do you mean if it was not faceted like this one? I'm not sure to be honest because mine was a bit wobbly until I did that very last step where I lock the point on the back in place, but cabochon would be just flat on back. I'll brainstorm what can be done
