Please stop taking your doggo to Banfield; for your pup's sake and for your wallet's sake. I know it SEEMS like it saves and gives great breaks on "great" care but that's simply not the case. My mother and I both quit working for Banfield because the company pushes their Doctors, Techs and even receptionists to hit a quota for certain sales (or they'll be terminated for not meeting their monthly quota). They rub unnecessary tests when labs are needed, they push packages because the company profits on the payment of accessories that clients usually never need in their dogs' lifetimes, they add extra unnecessary and stressful labs and tests for pre-surgicals that are rarely actually ever needed, and so much more. I know independent clinics seems like much more money but, similar to LED lights, it will actually save you money in the long run because they aren't trying to "just make a sale". And, yes, that's often something I heard while working for Banfield. Independent clinics also sign contracts with less big name companies and don't NEED to push any products to keep their contracts with their preferred brands. Please, at least think about it and look into it.
