Haven't been to Cardiff for years. I used to go every year to the Big Weekend fair which then was the best fair in Wales, travelled by train to it a few times too. There were a couple of good record stores around the city centre arcades. Sad to see so many closed units now.
It's a shame the Big Weekend doesn't run anymore, it used to bring so many people to the area. Makes me wonder if that could have something to do with those business closing 😏👌
Great vlog in my birth place. I left 50yrs ag so it looks very different. I had no idea there was a canal. The carousel was stunning. My favourite memories were the Christmas decorations in Queen st and St Mary st. Maybe ill get back there one day.
I went to Cardiff and I went there years ago and I Love Next it's My Favourite Shop and Great Video Mr D I went to Cardiff with my Friend she Lives in Wales it's a good Town
I went CIA years ago & stayed in a Premier Inn in the city centre & I remember it was so high & the windows were ceiling to floor, it made my legs go wobbly looking down 😱
The next day we had breakfast in a cafe in one of those arcades in Cardiff & after we headed off to Barry Island & had a coffee in Marco’s & checked out the Gavin & Stacey locations, was a great weekend 😊👍🏻
Great vlog as usual When I was working on the buses -western Welsh in the 60s we used to pull in front of the station and there were buses from all over Cardiff sure has changed and by the looks of it perhaps for the better I know a lot of people will say for the worse- but take the good with the bad as time moves on - I loved the market and all the arcades in fact anytime I’m over I make a point to go there- I did see the train you were on and was shocked by how modern it looked I think your idea of bringing us all along with you to others places of interest is a great idea and it will certainly gain you views and boost your TH-cam quite a lot and I wish you Al the best in that endeavor Thanks again for the trip Regards form Florida 😊
