    • @RetroKid
      @RetroKid ปีที่แล้ว +23

      @@stansmith5610 nah, it's in the name. "Hype" implied they're only chasing the fad, the trend, the newest and most popular trend. Hypebeasts jump from trend to trend, but don't really care about anything besides "breaking necks". There's nothing to misconstrue about hypebeasts, they're only there for attention, nothing more. There's no love of the culture, just a love of attention. It's sad.

      I went from Invincible Runs to UB 22s, hated the stiffness in the 22s and got SC Trainers 2 months later after being so disappointed, absolutely no regrets, SC Trainers feel like the Inv Runs but far more stable, more guidance, less Frankensteinishly clucky, and even more bounce, especially in the forefoot area, my only gripes are the stitching around the collar hurt my ankle (had to literally cut it out), lack of dark colorways, and the undercage traps rocks easily, otherwise they are what I'd consider the perfect shoes, but Runs are really dope, they served me well for the 2 years I wore them clear till the zoomX simply cracked apart

      Ur case is typically as mine, I used ultraboost 19, and I was very satisfied then I purchased UB 20 but was upset, it's less comfortable and the cushioning is not great, then I googled for sneakers and picked zoomx invincible 2, and it was a perfect choice, best comfortable shoes I have ever tried, it also helped me with my knee pain's

    Hes, you did a great job, as always; I like watching your videos. Based on your recommendations and my experience I have had every shoe in your lineup. I’m not a runner but prefer running shoes as my daily. The top 3 - NB 1080 v12, then the unlaced, goes great with suits, and 3rd ties More V4 and the Goretex v7 because I don’t wear either much. I have the Supercomps, and I loved them when I first got them over the long term. I didn’t like the constant movement and a little too much “squish.” The invincible 2 feel good but seem better for wider feet. It feels like wearing more oversized shell shoes with structure but allowing lateral movement for my feet. Nimbus 24 feels fantastic, but a little tighter and left me with a spot on my left heel. Novablast 3 ran a little long for me, but it felt great. The NB comparison would be the bees knees.

    I have all of your top 4 and it is hard to argue with any of these. I got the prime x strung for $150 just to experience. The tech is insane! If they made the same shoe with no plates and a heel wide like the SC it would begin a craze like the ultraboost in the 2000s. I would like you to try a shoe or 2 from saucony. They really stepped up. They state thr triumph or speed 3 is their max cushion shoe, but the foam in the new endorphin speed is very much inbetween zoomx and fuelcell. It is a great feeling underfoot.

    I have not tried the clifton 8 HOKA. but I did buy the HOKA bondi 8 due to the constant recommendations. I would say its not the worst shoe, but also not the most comfortable. I would say that the foam and stack is definitely taller but if you are standing over 8+ hours as i know many nurses and healthcare workers are doing, it does start to feel a little hard on the feet. It could just be my personal experience with it but its not as plush on the foot but has better support than other shoes such as the New balances. but overall I wear my NB more on rotations due to how soft the foam feels. I will have to try the clifton

    First I thought you're crazy putting Supercomp Trainer ahead of The invincible run until I went out and try it at the store. It ended up becoming my most favorite trainer now. I tried the invincible run 2 and 3 and both feels more chunky and something useless behind the heel attached to it. The Supercomp is another level, it is both soft and bouncy at the same time. I don't know how they do it. The only complain I have is it's still a bit too heavy, if new balance could drop like 100g off and retain everything else, this shoe will be the best thing in the world since Adidas predator 2001

    Hey Hes, thanks for the reviews. I’m always looking for comfort shoes like yourself, but I need them for long hours of standing. Unfortunately some of the more cushioned shoes like UBs, New Balance More V4 and Nike Infinity Run gave me foot pain after 4 hours of standing. Do you have any suggestions on other models that might withstand the long hours (11+) of standing aside using insoles? Thanks!

      fuelcell should offer enough springiness and bounce to withstand long hours of standing

    Got the invincible run 2’s to run in and while they are comfortable they fell apart quickly. They’re constantly on sale so if you see them pick them up. Good all day casual shoe

    Now that I have a few pairs of shoes with a wide toe box that lets my toes spread out a little I just can't go back to wearing narrow shoes that squeeze my toes together like Jordan's and nikes. Fortunately brands like Brooks and Lems have plenty of options to suit me. Maybe in a future video you could do a rundown of shoes offered in wide or with a wide toe box built in, I think there's going to be a big shift to this style.

    What are your thoughts on the air max 2015s? I don’t think I’ve ever heard you mentioned them. How would you compare them to the air max 270s? Also how would you compare them to the Nike reacts and infinitys? so far the 2015s are still the most comfortable shoes I’ve come across but they are getting harder and harder to find. Now I am hooked on running shoes and comfort I’m looking for more options if you could let me know what you think I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you 💪🏼

    i've had the clifton 8s for a few years of running now and for running they are great but for walking i think they feel like you are walking up a hill as there is a large drop on the heel. do you know of any walking type shoe that has a little extra foam with no drop on the heel?

    The squish of the Rebel V3 is better than the Invincible Run, but the Rebels lean inward in an uncomfortable way that I guess is made for running, but kinda sucks for casual wear. Make sure you try them on your feet before deciding.

    I’m not really a shoe person because my feet are so wide that most shoes I like just hurt my feet completely. I’ve been wearing ultraboost 2.0s for the last 5 years for walking. I kept wishing that a company would make a nice wide foot running shoe in this style, leave it up to new balance !! I’m going to go for the Fresh Foam X 1080v12 in a wide fit. They look real comfy and good for an everyday 😊casual wear too. They seem to look good on you’re feet, not to seem superficial but looks are as important as comfort for me, not going to lie 😅
