One of the best cycles that I owned as a youngster! An older neighbor gave my friend and I, 3 rolling frames and a box of engines from a CT and SL 70cc, when he cleaned out his garage. My friend, and I, built 2 out of the surplus, one of which was powered by the SL motor with a 4-speed transmission and hand clutch. We siliconed the spark plug and could ride double in knee deep water.
I had the exact bike when I was 9, great fun, then moved up to an SL70, then an Elsinore 125

@williamjancha2812 that's how I got started on motorcycles too. I put two together and made one to ride.

You're right, older bikes will run and run and run long after newer bikes are shot
They put a lot of care in the engineering on them.
