I bought the Hisense u8h last year and it's giving me so many problems. It's a good thing I was pressured into getting the warranty cause this TV already needs replacing. Stay away from Hisense until they fix their QC issues. I shouldn't be getting a flickering screen and sound not working after only one year.
Just got the U76N installed 2 days ago and it has flickering on the bottom left corner. Have you found a solution to this? I'm going to have them exchange if there is no fix.
We pulled the trigger on a 75" Sony X90Ck from Costco. We are not disappointed in the least with this TV. Triluminos Quantum Dot display with a lighted remote, exclusive to Costco, with a 3 year extended warranty included. And a great price on sale, What a great TV! Thanks for your reviews, its ALOT of help to your subscribers!
@@ztuber7763 no. The latest TV-s get 2nd gen panel. My TV is made in november 2023 and the Ana Peak is 512. I checked in the service menu. That is a 2. gen panel and i have a 65” version.
A majority of the later year end model S90C have a good chance at being 2nd gen panels, but there is a chance you could get a 1st gen. The 77 inch is guaranteed to be 2nd gen on S89C and S90C
Do we think the C3 or G3 will be any cheaper when the new C4 and G4 are released end of March early April or is it as cheap as they will be before November? 🤔
There is usually a time where both generations of LG OLED TVs are on the market and the older version is discounted, and then closed out but you have to keep track of it.
@Sami.the.auto.advisor..LOL. I just purchased it from Best Buy with FREE install/setup/installation. I went to Best Buy to purchase TCL 98” S5 when I saw the 100” Hisense U76 (2024) for the same price! I pulled the trigger immediately...
@@apmendoza15 Sorry to hear that. I jumped all over it same day I heard about the sale at Best Buy last week. I will get mine delivered and installed in 2 weeks. I just checked Best Buy and it is now unavailable. Maybe you get lucky with the 8K if it comes back?
@BtheInstaller You really missed talking about the Best Buy Exclusive S89C from Samsung. It is a S90C with just a slightly different stand. Otherwise the panel is 2nd Gen QD OLED and even if you access the service menu on the TV it clearly says S90C. Only size is 77inch. Great Deal for $1999.
I decided to go with the 85-inch Sony X90CL from Costco because of its ability to adjust settings during Dolby Vision playback, Rtings measurements, its premium remote control, and extended warranty. At $2,000, I think it's the perfect sweetspot for balancing performance, screen size, and price. When someone at AVS Forum tried the 98-inch TCL S5 and compared it with the 85-inch Sony X90CL side-by-side, they didn't think the difference between 85 and 98 inches is that significant, and thought the Sony X90CL has better performance. According to Rtings, the X90L excedes the X93L and X95L in certain areas of importance to me. Although depending on what Sony releases this summer, I might wind up putting my X90L on marketplace or something if there are any significant improvements of importance to me. Even though I made my decision, I still enjoy perspectives from other enthusiasts. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to more!
I just got a Samsung G9 OLED 49” for my monitor. I love it. The colors are off the hook for movies. I was watching Avatar the way of the water, the incredibles 2 and avengers infinity war those are really a great way to test any tv/monitor. I moved the movie around the screen and it was solid. I’m impressed by Samsungs OLED I want an 85” 8K qled from Samsung because 16k won’t be even released until the beginning of the next decade.
Thank for this video! I'm shopping for a 65". Just to confirm, for my price range of $700+-, would you pick the Hisense U7K or is there another brand/model you prefer. Using it for movies, cable TV, streaming, and no gaming. Thanks in advance!
The 2024 Hisense U76 at a 100 inch is going to be a better value then the TCL 98 inch S5. It will have full array local, and it's same price $2000 at Best Buy.
What would be a good buy for a $1200-1400 budget? Replacing 10y/o Samsung 48in. Been looking at Hisense U7/8 or Sony X90L. Already have a Bose sound system so sound not an issue.
@@BTheInstaller It’s normally $4,999.99 but on sale at Best Buy with free installation and wall mounting. It’s a QLED with a Full array display. Sounds like it would be good quality and a great price….
@@elmermoreno7681 I went to Best Buy site intending to buy the TCL 98 S when I saw the Hisense 100” QLED U76 (2024) for the same price. I jumped all over the Hisense as it no longer made any sense to get the TCL. I made sure I purchased the Hisense with a 2 year warranty. .. You made a HUGE mistake if no warranty was purchased...
Quick question: Do you think the Hisense U8K at 65-inch is a good deal because I'm looking at that one, so considering with the my Best Buy total yearly membership it comes out to $1,170.43 ?
Just had one installed 2 hours ago. This thing is a beast. The quality of the picture is so far above what I expected, even after watching all the reviews on the U8K. I'm absolutely blown away.
I have 3 Samsung Frame TV's and I have added the Deco custom frame to them and they look fantastic. The mat finish and the anti reflection on the new samsung frame tv's are great.
Im waiting and not just because of money. I had a led tv from samsung, then at the end of the lgc1 model, I got a good deal on a lgc1 77. Im still amazed what it offered for an oled. It has 120 black frame insertion, which I think new tvs dont have. Perfect for movies and games. Qd oled is nice, but I see Qdel might be on the way, and I like to use my tvs until they have real issues. Another thing is size. My next has to be 83 or bigger with better motion clarity for 24fps movies and bfi120hz. Better colors and a little brighter tv isnt enough for me to go out of my way.
I have a 1080p LED Samsung from like... 9 years ago. I was going to get the LG evo G3, but stumbled on the fact that the G4 might be arriving soon. Should I hold out and just get the G4? Im hearing the new processor is a pretty big jump from the G3, and since Im looking to buy a tv that would last me a good while, Im considering just holding off for the G4. Either way, going from a Samsung 1080p LED to a LG QD-OLED evo is gonna be a huge jump, yeah? I mostly plan to use it for gaming, and heard that the LG OLEDs have a lower risk of burn-in while still able to run high end games at a good framerate. Was considering going with the newest Samsung model, but Ive heard that their software and HDMI ports have a habit of failing. I didnt know anything about TVs until recently, and found myself going down quite the rabbit hole with what Ive discovered. Any suggestions would be great. I dont have money like that, but for a purchase like this, Im willing to pay more to get something current and top of the line. Just having a hard time between the latest Samsung, Sony, and LG models. Leaning towards LG.
Hey B.The Installer,I have a question,I want a 75inch TV for my master bedroom I’m stuck on making a decision between TCLQM8,Hiesense UH8,Sony X90L,I’m a Sony fanatic been buying Sony TV’s since the 90’s and they are durable and reliable and there picture is so great but today the TCL and Hiesense have the QLED mini LED technology that Sony don’t have at the price point im willing to spend for my bedroom can you give me your opinion on these 3 TV’s and which one would you get and why thank you
I believe you missed a big development that was active at Best Buy. They have a new for 2024 Hisense 100” tv the U76N for sale at $1,999 delivered. It is a full array local dimming qled quantum Dot wide color gamut, Dolby vision, 144hz native refresh rate with google tv operating system. Would love to hear your comment between tcl s5 98”. Love your reviews. Definitely going to buy one of these two. Thanks David
Should I wait for the 2024 version of the TCL s5 ? How about the TCL s5 vs the Hisense 100" u7 (popping up also at the $2k price point) Thank you! Headed to Best Buy soon !
You can always wait or always buy, what difference does it make as TV tech is constantly improving?? When you're looking to buy a TV, buy last years model.
Great video! Does anyone know if the Samsung 15 meter ONE CONNECT cable will work on OLED 95C tv's? It was made for the Qled tv. I want to move the OLED box in to my server cabinet in another room.
I was interested in the LG C3 in a 55 inch for a bedroom/main TV I'm a single guy so a TV for the bedroom is good enough. Went to London Drugs a store chain in Canada, had a C3 on display, instant eye strain. OLED screens and my eyes usually don't work well together I was told TVs don't have the same eye strain issues. No matter how I looked at the C3 it was a no go. They had a Sony X90L on display, its wow that's a nice TV, it felt like you could touch the objects on the screen it had depth. My question is I can't be the only one that has eye strain issues with an OLED TVs you'd think it would have a high enough refresh rate. The gentleman at the electronics dept said look at a Hisense TV. I'm the type of guy buy once cry once I'd spend a little more to get a TV that will last. The TV may be used as a computer monitor as well. I learned a lesson go to a store and look at the damn things.
Hisense Google -High end. Then the Hisense ROKU…the budget lower end that u can find it in Walmart n etc. so if the guy suggest Hisnese when they hear u looking at C3 , they are talking about the GOOGLE panel. Prob the U88km or U78Km.
@@Yoga_Tv_buying I was thinking the U8K that seems to be consensus for the best model in the Hisense brand. I’d be buying online no Walmarts around here. I spend a lot of time weighing the pros and cons. I’m glad the local store had a C3 to look at it would have been a bit of a disappointment to find out it would be no good for me. I plan on using this as a smart tv to possibly use the internet I watch quite a bit of you tube google panel would be a must.
Which TV do you recommend for outdoor entertainment area? Ive heard the outdoor ones are NOT best quality & a Box exists to protect TVs that are NOT specially designed for outdoors
I enjoyed your video, I have been looking at and researching Oled TV’s but I get really confused when I read the reviews. When I feel that I settled on a particular TV, I read the reviews and get disappointed. It seems that all the Oled’s have issues per the reviews . How do you decide which ones to buy. I was looking at LG, Samsung and Sony in the 65 or 77 inch size and it appears that they all have issues. It’s confusing and frustrating and I only want to do this once . They are all similar in price, I want to get one that has the least issues and best support. A lot of reviewers don’t give good reviews on customer service.
Great review touching on all sizes! I’m waiting on a 65” A95L as my last tv for another 10 years. But saw the QN900C at a lower price and 8k? You’ve seen both. Thoughts? Movie content watching 90%.
My friend has a 75 inch QN900C. While it is a beautiful TV it does struggle with space/stars type scenes. It absolutely failed with the opening title crawl with Andor (space background/blooming etc). I would stick with OLED.
@@TPRErik thank you for the detailed reply. I’ve only seen them in the typical Best Buy “setting”. I’m pretty sure I’ll be going 65” A95L once the prices drop a tad….and I quit watching all these dang reviews 😅
Why did you not mention the Samsung 77” Class S89C OLED 4K selling at $1999.99? It's identical to the S90C with the 2nd gen QD OLED panel, with the exception of it's different feet instead of a stand.
Sheesh that is a killer deal. I’ve always stuck with lg but I can’t get the c3 or god forbid the g3 for 2k or under. How do you know it has the 2nd gen panel? And how do you think it compares to lg and don’t
Question: Sony 85” X93L for $3400 or Samsung 83” S90C for $3150? I know the Samsung is using LG old tech for their panel. Lighting not an issue. Which is the better TV for the money? Thanks Jim
I just ordered the Samsung 83 s90c. I think the 77” has the better panel but hoping that the 83 will still be a great tv. Couldn’t pass on the deal at $2300 out the door.
I've got a problem, I don't know which of these tv I should get coz they are the similar in price but different sizes. I don't really care bout size. It's between the 55' samsung s90c, 55' sony x90l, 42' a90k oled master series. My room is mostly dark and I don't game, which should I pick?
Did bestbuy not give you any affiliate kickbacks to cover the s89c since it's cheaper? It's the same QD OLED as the s90c and only $1.8k... come on homie
Hey Brian , I love the channel and videos ! I need to buy a new TV for my 85 yr old mom who's eyes are not what they were. I'm torn between the Top end TCL mini led and the top end Hisence Uled 8,both 85 inches and both 1798.00. Any advice ? Who wins ?
Get it. S89c is same as S90C. Best Buy exclusive for $1799. DV is overrated and it still support all HDR formats which honestly look as good if not better.
@@trewright1482that, and an inferior screen cant be saved by DV support... the QD-OLEDs just look so much better from the start. Supporting some cinematic standard is only for movie purists. It's not worth it. It's just that Samsung supports the competing HDR standard. Anyone who goes and compares QD-OLED TVs to W-OLED will forget about DV quickly. I did.
Just bought a 65 a95L for my gaming/personal movie room( watch a lot of content like old school kung fu, anime, war movies stuff most females don’t watch lol) and I wanted the best experience for myself.
with the S95D, LG G4, Do you think Sony will drop the price on the A95L ? I am waiting I want to buy the A95L but I am having a hard time paying full retail for the 77”. Do you think there will be price drops or is it better to get the S95D instead ?
I just bought the S5 TCL 98 from Best Buy. Still be to delivered. But just realized I can’t find a full motion wall mount with that VESA 600x500. What can you recommend ?
I like it. The picture looks good and the size is pretty massive. No regrets! Definitely recommend it if you can get it for $2000 when it goes on sale.
The multi view on Samsung only TH-cam and cable feed the other two feeds have to be phone, computer, camera. Can't watch 4 feeds from apps like Netflix, prime,Apple TV, Disney plus etc
It's been a toss up for me! I have the 83'' C3 in my cart right now. I've never liked LCD backlights due to light leaks. So I'm definitely not getting LCD or mini-led. That said, I've whittled it down to LG or TCL. Samsung is out because no DV support. Remember folks, that they price match if you go to the store. I have an amazon page open too. So if I see a price war, I'll head to bestbuy and buy it.
I know you’re sponsored by BestBuy, but what about tvs from Costco? I never see anyone do reviews on them. Specs seem to be the same but the model numbers all have an extra letter in them.
Saturday bought an S90C 55 in it wasn't about the money it was just I didn't need that pic of a TV to get like a 70 in and space limiting but anyway the S90C is incredible I can't believe I bought a TV of that stature I came from a Samsung AU8000 so obviously when I first turned on the picture I was like Jaw on the floor I actually had to turn the brightness down because it was searing into my eyes😅😅😳😬 The gaming is incredible too it looks so real color reproduction how fast you move around the TV is just man The only thing I could say about it is they need to improve on the remote Make it bigger and actually put physical buttons or maybe even a digital screen touch screen that would be cool not that the control is terrible it just doesn't have many buttons on it
@@DaddySizeIt I got it at Best buy 1499 I just don't need that big of a TV man I could have gotten a bigger one but I also have an issue with space I live in a studio efficiency so space is limited I probably could have gone to the 65-in but the 55s awesome I couldn't believe how thin TV is on the upper portion it's like almost paper thin it's crazy dude if you're on the fence to buy one don't be jump right off that fence and go get one You will be extremely happy
Can you please provice more information about the new crop of bigger screen 110" & 115" 4K TVs. I want to purchase one and needed to know which one will be available and would be recommended to look at first in the US? Also when you were at the CES 2024 did you have a chance to access the new big screen 110" & 115" 4K TVs? Which of the two big TVs in your opinion would be the best one to get for early adopters? Being that these are the 1st wave of bigger screen TVs to be released which one do you think will be the best price/value option? Currently have a little Sony 83" A90J in the Living Room, but from 16' away sitting on our main sofa and in the main seating area, the TV just appears to small. I'm a big Projector Buff and have two very nice projedctors both in rooms with tight control over ambient light intrusion. Unfortunately the Living room wall is directly adjacent to the big sliding glass doors leading outdoors to the covered patio. This is always open for big sports and other kinds of events during the day. We have the barbeque out there and a place where smokers/vapors can do their thing. Point being the light coming in from the outdoor patio is just to much of distraction and really cuts down on the contrast levels when trying to watch sporting events etc. We even tested it with a good ALR screen but still no cigar. For night time viewing the Projector is King in that space. We dis a 17' diagonal wall projection for 2.40:1 format Cinematic 4K Blu-rays, very cool and super engaging!
Anyone have a recommendation for me.. I have a 75" Samsung Q90T but want a bigger TV.. Looking at either getting the 1. Hisense U76N 100" 2. 2024 TCL QM8 98" 3. Hisense Uled X 98" The benefit of item 1 (the U76N) is it's available right now and it's only 2,000 bucks.. I know the other two TV's are better but I just don't know what the cost to em will be or when they will be available.. I am hoping to get a new big TV for the living room before the NFL draft in late April.. just seeing if anyone had some insight or recommendations..
I just ordered the U76N yesterday, I couldn't let it pass. I missed out on the 100U8K deal in November and it's been bothering me. I mean, I was on like page 11 on google searches trying to find someone that had one to sell... I have the same thought as you- I really don't know when it will be available again and didn't want to wait any longer. Plus, if I'm really honest with myself, I don't think I'll notice a difference in the mini-LED vs QLED. Something to consider: -Will the two less inches bother you? If she says no, she's lying :D -Does your room have a window that will let the sun hit the display- the Hisense ULED has way more Nits than the QLED. -I dislike that TCL does not tell you nits. -Is the 2X price tag really worth any minor difference? -If the massive panel goes out in under 5 years, I'd be much less bothered than if I waiting and spent more and the same thing happened

Would you go for size over picture quality. Looking at Sony 85" x90l or 77" OLED for the basement with no ambient light. Standard tv and streaming at 13 feet. If OLED, C3 OR A80L ??
Size in my opinion trumps pic quality for the most part, but why no consideration on Samsung S90C? It is a much better TV than your choices you listed. The A80L is just too dim, and only has 2 HDMI 2,1 ports. The C3 is not as bright as the S90c, and the S90C is overall a better HDR and Gaming TV. The Samsung gets criticized with upscaling, but thats like saying who has the shiniest turd watching SDR content...
There is not enough 4k content t buy a tv. Infrastructural can’t support stream 4k. So why a tv when it won’t be utilized to its full potential constantly
any recommendations for receiver for the lg oled? 4k 120hz and the rest of the features would be nice. For all the ports. hrd 10, doubly vision, vrr, 4k I see 4 k connection and 8k connections. am confused. Some spec sheet say 8k is HDMI 2.1. I don't understand. Got the c1 at some place at ultra discount. old receiver doesn't even have hdr. i didn't know. that's why i am asking around.
will all the receavers sold today do 4k 120hz for lg c1. HDR 10, doubly vision, VRR would be nice. Will it do g sync? i just have the PC hooked up direct for g sync.

Yessir some people work hard and don’t blow money on little junk everyday. Buying food and drinks at gas stations, eating out, drinking beer or liquor, smoking/chewing. There is many ways that the majority of people blow their disposable income they just don’t know they do it or don’t care. People like myself work hard 6-7 days a week and don’t eat out or go out to the movies so your statement is irrelevant the question you should be asking is “ do people really choose to spend their money on a nice tv”. Now if you don’t waste money on all those little things and you still don’t have any extra money then I would say you need a better job or you need to find a way to make some extra income. B ...Hisense just released a new 100in, the U76N. Did you see that one on the CES floor? If so, how does it compare with the 98-in TCL S5?

Hello Sony x80L or Samsung Q80C plz or tcl 745 ?

Just bought a 65” Samsung S90C with 2nd gen. panel! It is mind blowing, a beast for PS5 and XSX! Best buy now!

Was hoping to get some thoughts on the Hisense 100 inch U76 since it's 1999 right now.

I love my 65" lg cx I'm waiting for 4 to 5 years when the new gaming consoles come out!

You never talked about the LG G2...It is currently cheaper than the C3.
I was curious to hear about the 75 inch QM8. 98 inch is way too big for me, and I assume for the vast majority of people.

Looking at either getting the
1. Hisense U76N 100"
2. 2024 TCL QM8 98"
3. Hisense Uled X 98"
The benefit of item 1 (the U76N) is it's available right now and it's only 2,000 bucks..
Something to consider:
-Will the two less inches bother you? If she says no, she's lying :D
-Does your room have a window that will let the sun hit the display- the Hisense ULED has way more Nits than the QLED.

What tv would you go with qn90c qn800b
In uk 🇬🇧 waiting till April..going to buy lg g3
You kinda look like Gerrit Cole. Love the vids.
There is not enough 4k content t buy a tv. Infrastructural can’t support stream 4k. So why a tv when it won’t be utilized to its full potential constantly
Like most years there’s usually very little Leap in performance in the new TVs from last years
I think there are good advances, but it always seems less significant early on.
any recommendations for receiver for the lg oled?
4k 120hz and the rest of the features would be nice. For all the ports.
hrd 10, doubly vision, vrr, 4k
I see 4 k connection and 8k connections. am confused. Some spec sheet say 8k is HDMI 2.1. I don't understand.
Got the c1 at some place at ultra discount. old receiver doesn't even have hdr. i didn't know. that's why i am asking around.
There is nothing that uses 8k so basically irrelevant.
will all the receavers sold today do 4k 120hz for lg c1.
HDR 10, doubly vision, VRR would be nice. Will it do g sync? i just have the PC hooked up direct for g sync.
I just brought samsung qn90b 85in for $1500 for the superbowl
Did this man really just skip past the LG c3 77 inch???? And spoke about everyother size and model? Wow.
No Panasonic MZW2004, what??
TOO bad this US this was Canada head uptown right now 7am lol
would you go sony A80l 77" or LG C3 77"
I have a Sony oled... but both are good. I prefer the Google os
@@BTheInstaller thanks for your input. love the videos as always
S90C.
What about Sony?
Sponserd video tells us what to do?
But nobody's bringing up the fact of why would you want a transparent tv???? It sounds like a gimmick nobody needs.
It would sell with businesses.
Good for example where you would want to have advertisements in your window while letting people see inside the place.
It’s more of a decor feature then for watching tv .
TCL's don't cast using Apple Airplay.
Trick question you only buy a TV when you’re current one breaks down otherwise you’re just throwing money down the toilet for stupidity
I just bought a s89c qd oled for $1650 before taxes. Deal of the decade
77"
Is it just me, or does every TV besides Sony’s have way too overly saturated and vibrant reds and greens? To the point they look neon/radioactive.
Great Review!!!
The C series an now the G series seem to be overpriced compared to other companies options.
People actually have enough disposable Income to replace things that work well enough already?
I'm not sure I follow this... typically people seek buying advice for when they need a new tv
@@BTheInstallerNow or wait seems like a question for someone upgrading (people needing a TV don't tend to wait), economically this may not be the best time for many people. I didn't intend any offense, I love the channel because I like to see what's available even if it's out of reach.
@@AverageHouseHusbandI currently have a Hisense U7G that I got refunded on because I got a burn in shadow mark on it it still works I just want to get a new one
Also yes some people find ways to make more money or they don't have any bills to pay or they just have a high paying job
Hard work makes the dream work my friend have a good day!!!
I ask the same question every year. Is now the time to buy a new tv or should i wait? 12 years past sinc i last buy a tv. Lol. And it's not monney in question.
Köszönjük!
2k no problem, cant pay my tax tho lol😂
The anti reflection of samsung oled is just gonna look cheap looking tv, well they selling there qd oled in a cheap price anyway.
What about Sony? Is 2024 the end of Sony OLED?
I will never buy a Hisense or LG TV.
