hi, love this and just wondered if you would ever use the actual word "watch" when they understand the eye contact? and if so when would you put that word in?
Thank you for the videos, I have really improved my recall thanks to your method. I have done two recalls in front of dogs, then a cat and joggers. With a very shy dog. Don't the sunglasses get in the way during this exercise?
So great to hear your dogs recall has improved!! I’ll hopefully have some more recall videos up soon with a bit more detail in them than my original one! I don’t have any issues with most dogs with sunglasses on. However, if I was having trouble connecting with a dog I would definitely experiment with removing them and seeing if that improves the engagement the dog gives the handler!
@@jamiethedogtrainer1735 Ok thanks! I used to reward her directly when she came back, but I think it bored her. With throwing and allowing her to chase the treat, she comes back even during distractions!
