I to had gotten hail that came down on saturday and later shrunk down to a small size after, then snow mix,it didnt keep accumulating for to long it kepted for some time all day on Saturday, today tho,I got light snow on the ground here out here in the Puget sound cank island ❄this morning, fog tryed rolling in and wanted to start back up again and stoped again, hopefully tonight I'll get more snow again
Extra sunflower seeds for the birds this morning and nuts for the squirrel. I had to unfreeze their water. Heated hummingbird feeder is working well. Busy morning. Cool video of the snow storm; lighting looks authentic.
I also got to test my feeder heater last night and am so chuffed to see my hummingbirds gathering around it this morning. Thanks for taking care of our birds!
For anyone who feeds the hummers and doesn't have a heated one, incandescent Xmas lights wrapped around the feeders will keep them from freezing to around 23-25 degrees F. The hummers really sparkle in the glow of the lights, too
@ aww that sounds so cute! I wish I had known that last week when I bought mine - I’ll remember it when we add another feeder to our home, though! Thanks for the tip.
We had pounding hail here in Parkrose as I was leaving to drive out to the into the gorge, Corbett, to do some electrical work. I could see the hail building up on I-84 outside tire tracks. It eventually slowed down into a sleet type precipitation before ending and then, sunshine poking through the gorge from my viewpoint in Corbett.
We had a knarly windstorm first and then it dumped about 4". And night before last, we probably got nearly a foot (total). I am above Concrete at Lake Tyee.
I was wrong and I meant when I was wrong but we got about 4 in here in Boise and it's really coming down but it is a very wet snow it has a lot more to come to in the Foothills they got about 8 to 10 but this isn't bad pretty good snowfall it's not really sticking to the interstate we got about 4 in we picked up about 2 in this morning so I was wrong I said he wasn't going to get any snow this year but I was wrong but we got about 4 in here in the valley and heavy wet snow is coming down and I think that's probably more coming Tuesday Michael you did a good job and you you are very accurate and I'll tell all the local weather forecast today should look at look at your forecast because you was accurate because you you are the only one that said the Boise with might get some snow you was right I enjoy watching your videos keep up the great work Michael
(1,300 ft near eugene) got a half inch-3/4 inch covering it all!! We’re real close to this California atmospheric river and that’s pretty much where our moisture is coming from I mean if it shifts even 3 miles more north it’ll just pelt us with snow. Very exciting!! Good luck to all and I hope you all see some snow!
Power has been on and off west of Port Angeles since yesterday afternoon. Apparently they got dumped on and a tree fell on some lines. It’s a chilly 29°F here according to our tempest.
Rounds of heavy flurries or snow rushing into Victoria BC, it has been snowing for 3-4 hrs now, and it might be another heavy snow for at least into Tuesday.
Point "Robinson" there on Maury (Vashon) I. Point Roberts is next to me (where we had Thundersnow yesterday afternoon and nearly a foot of snow on much of northern Whatcom county in that could Fraser blow). Flight planners need to know!
I love your reporting on the Pacific Northwest and California but I live in the Rogue Valley. It seems to me that this area, being in between the two, doesn’t get enough attention. I get that you are based in the Seattle area and have more focus there but please spend more time on the State of Jefferson. Keep up the good work, you are the best at providing this service.
Got another inch of snow last night bringing our total to about 3" so far for the event. Looks like a good amount more snow is coming through today. Foothills outside of Sultan, 500'
I woke up to a fraction of an inch of snow of S. Camano Island. Hopefully we'll get a little more. We got some snow pellets yesterday. Looks like i got my wish, it's snowing pretty good now!
I ordered flurries for my hike on Saturday near Vancouver Lake and I got pounding hail. I'd like to speak to the manager.
The Snow Gods are such practical jokers!

Right!? The hail was a bit treacherous to see through as I was driving east bound on I-84 from Parkrose to Corbett!
Thanks, Michael. Have a nice play day.
Sorry, sir - but DOGE has closed the complaints dept until further notice. 😂😅
