Tank Khaleed was real annoying last season. The enemy that pick him were all def items with no atk item and he keep pestering us like a bug in almost every corner.

funny how his buff patch was months old, only for pro player to discover it and brought it to meta, i believe without mpl, khaleed would be left unoticed

@@darksidersfan2128Wouldn’t more competitors mean your rank is worth more value? I wouldn’t be a proud first placer in a ranking where there are only like less than 20 ppl, versus a ranking with 70+ ppl fighting for the top spot.

Remember from the start of this current season of MPL one of the coaches got interviewed from I believe FCAP(?) I can't recall but the interviewer asked about his thoughts about khaleed since they were talking about previous meta and coach said Khaleed is being eyed for roam and not his past meta exp lane
I main him didn't know he's becoming meta
I use pure damage khaleed though never thought he would become meta
Cuz he kinda depends on team. If you're with bunch of idiots it's not that easy to carry with him especially if enemy can focus their cc on you.

Not Khaleed main but he is my favorite cut lane hero among all EXP Laners and one of the best Concussive Blast users. I always use Assassin Emblem + Thrill + Master Assassin + Concussive Blast on him. And yes, Thunder Belt Khaleed is my favorite combo.

For solo player, semi tank is the best. Use fighter emblem and add malefic roar after 2 or 3 defence item. You can solo kill mm or mage that doesn't have high lifesteal.

Minsittar is another secret meta hero, same case as Khaleed with tank build in exp lane, but he can counter long range and dashing heroes. Also capable of turning the tide on other lanes when you use "pull yourself together" talent and arrival battle spell, a guarantee long winrates in rank games base from my experience 👌

I discovered this hero before he was getting picked by pros and wonder why is no one picking him. I was checking for any other heroes that can stack Thunderbelt as replacement for Gatot. I'm getting 70-80 stacks at the end of the game.
Another note that you're also weak against sustain mobility Exp laners (Cici, Esme), they can outheal, outspeed, and outdamage you if you are not careful and can have a really tough early game.
Tip: Once you have Thunderbelt, you can stack by clashing/trading with enemy Exp during early. Get passive, attack Exp, use first (passive and thunderbelt will be up), attack exp again, rinse and repeat. You will get 2 stacks per trade and can do it again after 9 seconds if the enemy exp is not recalling or has sustain.
Tip 2: Always harrass. Be a bully and adapt a guerilla tactic (attack then run)
Leave it to pro players to start going tank build and devs nerf the shit out of it so now that hero will be useless even as damage build after a few patches. Thanks pros

Why did they find out about this now? I've been playing tank khaleed: harassing the enemy jungler, plays him as a roamer, and even try tank jungler khaleed since when he's a forgotten hero...
I spam this guy as soon as the thunderbelt was revamped. And all i did was get stacks throughout the game. attack>out>heal>repeat. then at late game i scale like a raid boss. earlier this week got up to 80 stacks.
I've been playing Tank Khaleed since last season and I'm surprised it got only popular just now
I've played him as a roamer before MPL trend and what Eligin said is true. The only difference is Khaleed was tankier (even without new thunder belt) before the fighter's low defense update.
(Edit - also he can't win against true damage and defense reduction)
I m playing khaleed from last season. His sand surfing is main reason to pick him. He can be anywhere so fast can chase easy and his jump to enemy passive is biggest plus point just like alucard
Been playing him for an year now, never knew he'd jump in meta so silently. Just love his mechanics and early to mid game barrage. Also as elgin mentioned he has very good mobility, making lane management pretty easier specially as a solo player. Although I prefer semi tank with heptaseas and malefic roar. And usually he's neither picked or banned and people didn't considered him an active threat, heck most of the time they don't know how to counter him. So it was easier to get him and play but now things might change. Also please drop your build and tips guys, I'd want to try something different.
Wrong build, You use thunder belt and Queen wings For damage and sustain, the rest are Dominance, Radiant/Oracle/Twiligt(Depends of enemy lineup),Malefic roar if you want extra damage.
I got winstreak with KhalTank with this build.
Also Winter for lategame because you could use skill2+winter to get full health with no interuption.
I was tired of keep losing. Then I had an idea to play as a split-pusher, I'm explaner btw. The heroes who I assume are good for split-push are Zilong, Masha, and Khaleed, of course because of their movement speed. But the first 2 are real bad in early game. How am I supposed to split push if I feed even in early game? Therefore there's only one option left, Khaleed. He can win early game, rapidly rotate around the map, and he's good on both team fights or split push. Damn, ikr.

I've been using Khaleed after the change last year and I usually go tank build because in RG, nobody wants to play ROAM. Moonton might wanna fix double MM issue. Honor of King and League Queue already fixed that.
The Thunderbelt made the Fighter Roam better. I just hope Moonton doesn't nerf it further like SkyPiercer.
One thing to know: Kahleed falls off super hard in late game. His tankiness is practically nothing if you can't burst down atks speed marksman, and his skill 2 is basically unusable in teamfights. His ulti is your only chance in late game, his skill 1 does minimal cc and is cancelled if kahleed doesn't move ( getting cced)
Seriously He falls off really hard in late game compared martis, Uranus and thamus

@@garenbot3599 his only chance is his ulti flicker combo, and if he misses that's a 40 second cd. Too much risk for an exp laner, those kind of risks should only be taken by tanks, who not only have more hp but more cc
@@GamingForSpeed you have to utilize your passive to get on the carry and wait for a timing since your passive can maneuver anyone without mobility.
@@garenbot3599 in high ranks, having an initiator with good cc or damage is key for winning team fight. Khaled has one initiation skill, and the cd is way too long, having huge risks if missed. Besides the cc duration isn’t even that good. Terizla has better initiation than him. If you are going to wait for an optimal time to use his passive and chase after enemies, your team most likely would already die before u have the chance to do so. Besides his skill 1 damage is very underwhelming in late game and gives him no spell vamp / sustain at all. Also as said his skill 2 is easily cancelled in team fights and has a huge ass cd ( it’s longer than ruby’s ultimate). He’s only fun for beginners as he has huge damage in early and mobility, which is why so many ppl like to play him simply because it is easy to play. It’s pretty much the same reason why people force pick dyroth and saber. They aren’t good, but they do a lot of damage (early)
lately Belerick has become my fun harras-er because of twilight armour update.

I've played him as soon as the thunderbelt rework was first added. Had up to 108 stacks on him , people just dont play him much in my server
There's a few picks on MPL My as well, but not as famous as to be put in banned section. I've tried tank khaleed a few times, good at sucking damage, bad at clearing minions at late game
The Grock gold by Cikugais and on SG, the Martis/Fanny mid by Kurt and Valen gold by Vanix👀
Khaleed's passive is so broken and I've been abusing him since last season. His passive allows him to respond anywhere in the map w/o sacrificing his lane. He's so fast he can literally chase down any dashing assassins just by surfing 😭. Many times have I chased down haya, gusion, harley users w/o any sweats.
I love him but his main weakness (dominance ice) has disappeared
You'd need sea halberd or glowing wand to reduce his healing since dominance now only lasts 1 second+needs the person to get hit
Would personally use festival of blood instead since +18 def isn't gonna be doing much compared to healing a decent chunk from minions/ult
I played khaleed before he was popular and even with just a standard damage build he goes crazy in roam and exp. I would say his power spike is when you get a second skill since his ult is just extra.
I've been using Khaleed before he became meta again and what Elgin said in this video was what I exactly did, harass enemies, pressure lane opponents and rotate to team fights usually around the mid to zone around the turtle, the only difference was that around Tank Meta Khaleed can just go full damage to balance the composition and after the meta ended and Thunderbelt became a thing, I started using it on Khaleed and still with full damage but now Tank Khaleed is an option. I would like to apply it more in my casual ranked games, I already tried it before the Thunderbelt meta and it worked suprisingly well

Imo, main reason khaleed rise in the meta bcz he replace trizla. Trizla got nerfed, proplayer sub him with khaleed bcz they both share the same playstyle with their ults. The flicker ult combo to setup by trizla. Khaleed can do the same like the change direction to the left/right/forward, plus he has longer range.
Other pros khaleed has just like elgin said.

I usually take thunderbelt then go for penetration/att damage items rest of the slots but that usually falls off late game
Thunderbelt literally made invisible heroes to rise in the meta rn and I love it (Khaleed, Hylos, Minsitthar, etc)
Khaleed is one of the best roamers. He hits like a truck,no need to recall to base, has a good initiation skill and can rotate very fast. War axe/ blade of hepta and thunderbelt are his main items
I tried him at classic and he's really rock hard with decent damage. Too bad my cs is low and can't go on rank yet before other players can spam him😢

been using khaled hybrid for a month and half and even if i rarely get mvps the lane pressure lets me end matches at around 12 to 15 mins most of the times

Been playing as Khaleed main since last season. This hero could be a substitute for natalia if you build it right. By late game, their cores and mm's would be out of the picture if you keep targeting them lol

I tried Khaleed with thunderbelt (against an enemy team with not much cc) and he is super tanky since can easily stack thunderbelt's passive.
When people said he is the replacement for terizla i laughed because i know for a fact that phoveus is the one who will replace terizla with just a little buff or a little new item changes for physical or defense

I main him since 2021, I personally like pure damage build with oracle only when am playing solo, but y'all have to try tank Khaleed with angela quite literally Hylos but can heal better, personally I think he need bit more buffs on his skills and he'll be meta, moontoon quite scared of giving some heroes cc immunity.

He has such a big weakness that you'll think thrice before using him.

Like 0 Cuz all enemy has to do if focus on you and by mid game if they have a lead, you'll do even lower dmg, by late game you are just a hard to kill minion.
Can someone explain why there's still some mage users who use their flameshot very early? Like at the first minion wave, for no reason, they use their flameshot and it does like the lowest damage. I really feel like that's so wasteful, I often rage about it.
I tried this build and lose the match. It's good for duo but for solo a big no your nub team will always make you lose.

I was winning my lane but my teammates were getting destroyed by alu Angela combo.
And in late game we were turning the tides a bit
But our team was only going for kills and i was clearing lord's big minions at base and they got wiped out by enemies
And.. we lost
He was back in meta before. I think last april or may
As a Khaleed main im really glad he is getting the love he deservers but 1 thing i dont like is that people are starting to ban him alot

Idk I tried tank khaleed a few times and he was very bad at clearing lanes in late game. The first 2 minons? Sure easy. The catapult one? Nah two 1st skill isn't nearly enough. Tank khaleed can only do well if the team is having lanes advantage or else he can't even defend his lane against late game pushers like zilong or argus or sun. So yeah, he isn't good for your normal solo players

Khaled is also realy good with the 3 pen items,bod and sky piecer.With his speed and great dmg its very easy to kill mms and mages that r at the back of a team fight

Tank build is heavily dependent on team coordination. In SoliQ you want to be less dependent on team. Thats not really a problem in pro play.

I build him like how i build terizla but switch war axe for hunter strike cuz it's hard to keep the war axe stack on khaleed when he heals
i like going full burst because attacking is the best defense :)
