Dakota; every time you make a stupid, dorky joke I just imagine I’m there, eating all your cookies and laughing our heads off. You make me smile, thank you.
You've also inspired me in the sewing direction.I bought a tiny sewing machine, and I am terrified of it,lol, but I'm setting it up this week, as I have some really nice fabrics and many ideas for mod and older barbie clothes.Say a prayer for me.
She is SO pretty!!! 😍 This was the doll I was contemplating on getting for Christmas last year but decided on getting Dance Magic Barbie instead. I've always loved her outfit, her hairstyle, and her overall late 80s vibes. You did and always do such an incredible job on your restorations. I always look forward to every video that you share as they make me so happy. Thank you! ❤
Very beautiful restoration , but just a small trick , you can wash her without boil washing the hair , the curls in the box are very pretty and doesn’t need to be redone ( my opinion ) . But you did a great wonderful job . I don’t like to scrub the face with a tooth brush especially when the doll is from 80‘s , the make up is really very delicate .i can use a cotton bud to scrub the face it’s softer and more gentle for the make up .
I simply adore and admire every video of yours I've seen, and as much as if never wish up on anyone to have to purchase one of the most recent years inspired by fashionista, I still think I'd find great value in a series of review videos from your mind and produduction style that would showcase and feature all your points of view and knowledge regarding each iteration of a doll be they in hand because you have them, or by way of image snaps alone, just your info is something I find to be so enchanting. That's just an idea I figured I could suggest and share with you and those here who might also suggest or second motion others ideas if they have any merrit or value!
She’s another really pretty doll. I love this era of Barbie ,but she has just a little too much hair for my taste, but I get why. Peaches and Cream Barbie is one of the prettiest dolls ever made I think. I have many repeats of her, 2 in the box ,and loose ones in various 80s fashions. You did a great job with the restoration. It’s fabulous! ❤
Thank you so much! I am so glad you enjoyed it! She definitely has a crazy amount of hair. I thought my garden party Barbie could’ve had as much as this doll. But she’s actually got shorter thinner hair. This doll also came with a stand so she must’ve been a special release
I used Removes-zit 20 years ago, on vintage dolls that had ink on their plastics. I don't know if it's still the formula same product because I don't remember it smelling too strong. I do remember that it did a good job of removing ink, sometimes needing a number of applications. The only draw backs I remember was that it was a time sensitive product... the older it got, the less potent it was, becoming inert in just a few months. This made it rather expensive so I waited until I had a whole box full of dolls needing treatment before ordering any. Sometimes though, cost comes secondary when you absolutely need to restore that special doll.
She came out beautifully. Can you show us how to do right curls on a barbie and the rockers I found one but all her curls were pretty much gone so I washed her hair and after brushing out that big ball of tangles her hair is somewhat straight but wavy if that makes sense she does have plugs of hair missing 😪 thank you
That would be good to see. I found one at a thrift store and I had to wash her hair. Now it’s one giant frizz ball! I tried to tame and play with it, but it just does not look good 😢
Hey Dakota, left my new doll in a black bag (yes I know) for a few days and now she's got a black stain on her nose that won't come off. I'm traveling for a few months and can't get my hands on Remove-Zit. What else can I do?
Got my first job at Kmart back in the day. Decided to start collecting because I really liked Garden Party on the shelf. Peach Pretty was a Kmart exclusive and kinda holds a special place in my heart because I miss Kmart and again it was my first job. So, yes, I'm old enough to where I bought her off the shelf : ) Still have her and glad I do! Thanks for sharing!
She's truly fabulous and once again, you have restored her to the true beauty she absolutely is 🩷. I almost got her a few weeks ago, but had to pass as I purchased too many Barbies in one go already, so had to draw the line 😢. I will definitely not make the same mistake next time!
The amount of love and attention to detail that went into this restoration healed something inside me
Wonderful video and restoration! Love these iconic Barbies. :). :)
Aww thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Peach and that light teal were a thing in the 80's. LOL I know because I was there 🤣
Me, too! 😊
The peach teal combo plus the design of this doll feels like the maxie prom doll
Girl you are fabulous at restoring these beautiful dolls. I’m gonna use a few of your hair techniques on my vintage My Little Pony restorations.
Oh my gawd, a NOVYMPIA cutaway! Love it!!! Wonderful video as usual!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I LOVE these 80s & 90s Barbie unboxing and restoration ❤

You make me smile, thank you.
I love your videos and your attitude towards dolls from that period.
You are talented and hilarious, I love your channel! Hugs from France ❤
Thank you so much! Hugs from America!!:)

Your vids make me want to go snatch up all the Barbies in nasty boxes and save their little lives!
Always looking forward to your vids

Wish Mattel could take care of the new releases for 2025 as they had in 80s and 90s. Kanekalon hair is great.

I wanted Peaches and Cream doll when it came out, but never got her! I did get the reproduction.
She is so pretty!
Honestly, I wish this is what they did Ever After High with Ashlynn Ella's gown.
I’m baaaaaaaaaack
Her hair is sooooo pretty!

Any peroxide will help. The secret is saran wrap and heat! But don’t leave it on too long. And if it’s a mod era doll, you may end up bleaching it
Carefully! Baking soda can remove facial paint!
I don’t know if it’s just glitched out for me but the title of the video says garden party Barbie when it’s a review for peach pretty Barbie
Oh you’re right! I’ll have to fix that! Thanks for pointing it out 😊
As for that paper, looks like she had some roach buddies crashing with her in her box, poor barbie.
Looks like silver fish to me
