One of my main characters dies in the first book of a scifi dystopic comedy I'm writing. I want to read Maelin so I can understand how to move on in to a sequel after a tragic ending and still keep the mood or tone light.
It's a coincidence because my sister is leaving for Thailand today. I read about Maelin in my Newsletter and I really love the idea of a book for a character in the same universe as Night Shade Academy. I can tell that it's a wonderful novella. Speaking of novellas, I remember reading Memory Minefield and I really enjoyed it. If there are any sequels to the book I am excited for it. Blessed 2024, Mel!

I’d absolutely LOVE to beta read, but I know I wouldn’t be able to catch up with it (I am a slow, procrastinating reader) 😭 However, I will be watching for the sidelines to cheer it on and hopefully purchase it when it comes out!

Thank you so much! Honestly I just come up with names by pacing across the room and throwing out random words and phrases haha
