I listen to your videos so much now, that I have started to use them to go to sleep to. Not because they’re boring or, make me sleepy. Because they comfort me lol.
ooo i have a good one! even in single-player farms you can add extra cabins for storage and as another bed jussssst in case you cant make it to your own house by 2 am! 1.6 lets you add 7 cabins now for a LOT of storage and even extra beds :O
I like how you can now move chests by hitting them with the pickaxe or axe. If you plant a fruit tree sapling and later decide it's a bad location, you can cut it down and get the sapling back. It will need to regrow from scratch, but it's not so bad if it's out of season. I also like how you can craft a mini-forge for home weapon enchanting. Perhaps not _pro_ tips as such, but definitely quality of life improvements.
Also the fact that you can now drive the bus to the desert yourself when Pam's hungover is a relief. I know she can't actually crash the bus, but at least it makes me feel better about it on those days. I'd much prefer it if she switched to drinking tea or something at the bar every night, but we all know that's not going to happen until Harvey expands his practice to include a rehab clinic.

Same! I can’t wait!! Granted 1.6 is a mostly very late game stuff, and I’m still working on my last 2 items for the community center- I’m still excited nonetheless!

Giving junimos raisins will also allow them to harvest scythe crops.

I was in the mines and came home with a mannequin.
So I put clothes on her and the strange thing is that one morning when I woke up, she switched our clothes and not only that…. she moves around the house. I’ll find her in different spots or location within the house so that was very strange.. ..creepy really
Additional tips? The buffs of the statue of blessing and the statue of the dwarf king are seeded as well. The new furnaces are way more coal-efficient and can yield an extra bar. The craftable mushroom stumps are influenced by the amounts of trees around them - in harvest amount and kind of mushroom.

These are all pretty smart! I found out about the chest tip after I had already moved all my stuff manually. Was such a bummer. I'm pretty close to having enough materials to make the blessing statue, so I'll have to remember the butterfly tip.

Don't sell trinkets! They can have different stats and can be reforged. Some of them to get max stats and some of them have different variations (like the quiver that can be perfect, heavy or rapid). Start selling when you get the perfect one :)
There's no problem with selling trinkets that are across the board worse than others, or selling doubles of trinkets that don't come with specific stats (like the basilisk paw). You can reforge them, but you don't really need more than 2, unless you're actually planning on switching between the different types. I kept a few duplicates on Ginger Island, but you get so many paws and low level fairy boxes etc that I didn't know what to do with them.
@@lachouette_et_le_phoque you are right. My problem was that I did't know that most of them came with different stats and just sold all duplicates. And then noticed that you can reforge them as well. I like to try the different trinkets out before deciding which one actually works for me :)

Okay I had NO idea about "plopping the big chest over the small one" OMG, that's going to be one of the first things I do now, because I have PLENTY of wood and this will help with space! Now I wonder if the same thing applies the larger furnace. Maybe now lol.
Raisins are the reason why I now have small section of grapes growing in my Greenhouse lol.

The large furnace won't be set on top of the regular furnace, you'll want to pick up the small ones first

😂 I feel like the trinkets was a direct shot at me cause I’m the one who tweeted concernedape asking for a way to sell them bc my dumb ass never thought to try the guild (he actually replied to me and I was shocked as fuck tbh)

Here is an absolutely broken tip for the first week
1. Starting with multiple cabins on the riverland farm will give you an extra smoker for every new cabin
2. In 1.6 fish buffs also affect the fishing equipment sold by Willy so technically you could use a fish buff food bought on day 1 to then use and buy the fiberglass rod right away (eg: hit level 1 fishing, buy trout soup and buy fiberglass rod)
I play on pc and on my phone, it's so annoying that updates aren't on mobile yet as I keep getting annoyed forgetting that I can't do certain things on mobile yet😂

Some of these tips can be used in conjunction with the Stardew Valley predictor by mouseypounds, especially breaking open golden coconuts and finding the prismatic butterfly.

I've encountered a few times (I think) where if I don't complete the help wanted quest with a ticket the first day, sometimes a second ticketed help wanted quest pops up and I can get 2 tickets for that round
Ah I'm so excited to play 1.6!!
So... The seeded butterfly thing... I already knew of this trick, but when I went to use it the butterfly WAS NOT on the same spot when I restarted the day. In fact it wasn't anywhere! I searched the whole map, even in areas where it wouldn't show up normally. Sadly this resulted in me losing a prismatic shard 😢 I want to believe I was unlucky to experience a glitch, but now I'm already traumatized 😅
I was wondering where to sell the trinkets with full price. You can't use a shipping bin to get rid of them and with Iridium Trash can you only get 600g per trinket if I remember correctly. So I was just confused why every trinked says that it is worth 1000g when I was not able to find a shop where to sell them. I totally forgot to check the Adventurer's Guild. I only need the Basilisk Paw. Others seems to be useless.
