Great video! You have a good eye for getting the right shot, a real talent. I’ve been to Cabo a couple of times and you nailed it. The drone shots are awesome as well.
Well thank you very much! We definitely enjoyed this whole day. This was my first “big trip” using a drone…I was definitely nervous but I’m glad it paid off. Thanks for the compliment and thanks for watching!
we did the glass bottom boat tour and they dropped us off then came back to get us. It was by far the best deal of our entire cruise. One note getting off and back on the boat was a real struggle for us being older, if I did it again I think we would just stay on the boat and enjoy the scenery. Nice video thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, you are very right. It is super tricky getting on and off the boat. The large wave make timing very important. I’ve gotten very wet on some of these trips out here.
Well thank you! We enjoyed this trip so much! Glad you enjoyed it! So I shoot most of my stuff with a GoPro 11, with and Edutige external mic. Closeups tend to be done with my phone…for convenience… and I use a DJI mini 2 for my drone shots.
Yeah that beach is always a good time. I checked the drone laws before going…I just had to stay below 400 feet here to stay legal. Although the cruise ship confiscated my drone when I got back on board. They gave it back when we arrived back in LA.
It looks fun! How do you arrange a pick up time with the water taxi? Can you provide the total time spent off ship? I am always afraid to do excursions outside of Royal due to fear arriving back to ship on time.
it is a lot of fun! You can just tell your water taxi captain how long you'd like to stay there... we stayed there for 2 hours. they quit taking people out there past 4pm usually... This trip is very easy to coordinate with getting back to your ship. the pickup and drop-off is right next to the cruise ship pier. You'll definitely save a ton of money going solo...and with far fewer people as well. Enjoy your trip!
I am traveling with elderly who cannot walk too much. How far is the walk from the cruise boat drop off location to get to the water taxi Tamiko tours? After buying water taxi tickets, was there another far walk to the boat?
So the walk to Tamiko Tours is right by the pier...from there its maybe 50 yards to the boat. The only concern I'd have is exiting and re-entering the boat from the beach. It's pretty tricky even for the fit. You'll have to time everything out with the waves and you may not want to even attempt that with someone that may get injured. Its challenging... I'd maybe advise doing something else... you might consider taking a bicycle taxi to a closer beach...or even paying for a day pass to one of the resorts. that'd give you access to the resort, beach, pools, and food and drinks. hope this helps!
I'm typically on a shoestring budget and rarely go on excursions. I also dislike direct sunlight, though the heat isnae a problem. I found this very helpful and reassuring that prices are not crazy as I usually find a spot in the shade to have a beer and maybe a cigar. I was wondering how much the local beer cost?
You'll be happy to know that local beer is incredibly affordable! This trek would be a great option for you...there was always an area in the shade there at the beach along the cliffsides. That would be a great place for a cigar! I'm glad it was helpful! hope your trip is great!
You can on the Lovers Beach side…by where the water taxi drops you off. But not the Divorce Beach side where the big waves are. That side would be too dangerous for most swimmers.
Sure can, we were there for two hours. I’m thinking that they said we could be out there until 4pm…so if you get there early it’s up to you. 2 hours was pretty sufficient…although I wouldn’t have minded 3. They were really good to work with.

Great video. It's absolutely beautiful! I'm going on my first Royal Caribbean cruise in July 2025 and this definitely helps. Thanks!
That is great! I’m so glad it was helpful! Let me know if you have any questions!
Same.!!
Just booked the Firenze for the 5 night next May. Getting ideas of what to do, thank you for the video!
You bet! That place looks amazing. Yeah there is so much to do there...you'll have an amazing trip! Thanks for watching!
Love it! So cool with the drone footage!

Hey! Excelent material to explore Cabo San Lucas!! What equipment do you use to film this video? Have a great quality and footage! Congrats!

@@TheNotLostNomad Your image is definitely beautiful, you do a great job!
Can you share your email with us?
Super cool beach. Love how it's all secluded. Looks like a good time. I guess you could probly fly a drone anywhere there?

What ship? Ours says we can bring and use them just not on ship
Good video
Thank you!

@@TheNotLostNomad I have marked Tacos Locos and Tacos Gus on the map. At $2 each I can get two. ;-) Thank you very much for the input.

Can you swim on lovers beach?

I live in California so we have so many stores that sell Mexican candy and groceries.
Oh I’m jealous! We have a few places here in Texas but I’ve never been able to find it in bulk like this. I love it!
You didn’t tip the water taxi captain? For both of you I’d say 10 bucks minimum. 5 bucks a person seems right.
We tipped him when he picked us back up.I forgot to tally that in the total. But yes he did receive a tip…he did great.
@@TheNotLostNomad nice to hear. How long can you stay on the beach? Can you ask to be picked up 2 hours later?

Nice video until you started feeding the wildlife. Please remember never feed wildlife.
